Great Stay in Carthay Circle

The house was perfect for our month In LA. It was clean and very well appointed, exactly as shown in the pictures. We appreciated how well stocked the house was with dishes and cooking utensils as well as paper products and cleaning supplies. We loved the location and the ability to walk to so much - coffee shops, grocery stores, museums, and restaurants. Alex was incredibly responsive with any questions (not many) that we had. We highly recommend this home!

A perfect getaway

While most people come to LA to sight see, I was there to celebrate Thanksgiving with my son and his friends. This house was wonderful for entertaining- very warm and inviting, and everyone who visited thought it was so comfortable. I would go back in a minute.

A Lovely Home in a Charming Neighborhood...

I was in town to attend a wedding and I wanted to stay in an area of the city that was fairly close to where I needed to be. This neighborhood is right on the edge of Beverly Hills and frankly, it is a well-settled, quiet area that resembles some parts of Beverly Hills itself without the outrageous price so this is a great place to stay. People can be seen walking their dogs past the lovely homes and enjoying the tranquility of the neighborhood. It is an oasis in the midst of lots of activity so you don't have to go far to get to a drug store, supermarket or restaurant. The house was delightfully fresh and updated, as it is apparent that the entire home was converted into two 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom units. (The other side is also available for rent on VRBO.) The decor is contemporary, well-appointed and very comfortable. (I thoroughly enjoyed the incredibly dreamy bed!) There are several windows that allow natural light to flood the space during the day and the dimmable lighting in the living and dining rooms adds to the striking ambience in the evening. The living room and both bedrooms have great flat screen televisions with a massive channel selection as well as Netflix and Amazon Prime. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped with anything that one would need to prepare a fabulous meal and the appliances are modern and new. There is also a stackable washer and dryer to use for your convenience. The linen/towels are provided, there is hand soap at every sink and the shower is stocked with Aveeno brand shampoo, conditioner and body wash, which was a nice touch. Parking is available but it is in the form of on-street, curb parking. Two parking permit hang tags are provided but be advised that there are no designated spaces on the street for the property. (The driveway is not for the use of guests.) Now, this wasn't a major problem because most people on the street use their driveways. However, just be mindful that there is a chance that you will not get a space in front of the house. You also need to observe the street sweeping signs to determine the side of the street on which to park and when. Alex was extremely responsive and helpful. He always answered any questions that I had quickly before I came to town and when I was there. He is an exemplary host who does an awesome job of putting guests at ease. I highly recommend this property and commend Alex on his hospitality. Thanks so much! :)

Excellent Rental

Alex Hachiya is a first rate professional to work with, the very best, and the property is first rate as well. Great location and neighborhood, lovely inside and out, so clean, and well appointed. After driving on busy roads, it became a quiet retreat to spread out in or enjoy the patio in the backyard. Perfect stay, thank you Alex.

Great place to stay in good Beverly Hills location

The apartment is bigger than the pictures suggest and ideal for a family with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms for each room. Small garden in the back. The pictures give a good impression of the place and everything is in line with the description of the listing. Very easy, quick, and direct communication with the owner.

Amazing home away from home!

Alex was a terrific “host.” Timely and thorough communication. I can’t say enough GREAT things about the house. Charming, spotless, spacious and well appointed. It was the perfect LA location for us. Midway between our son at USC and the beach. Borders Beverly Hills. Great family neighborhood to take a leisurely morning or evening walk. I would definitely stay here again!!! Thank you Alex!
