The hotel was very chic and stylish. The bed and linens were soft and lux. We had some people in the hallways making noise in the middle of the night, but that could happen anywhere. The roofed deck is awesome with views of the Hollywood hill and sign.

When you check in the take an extra $200 PER NIGHT for incidentals out of your account. I thought this was pretty excessive given that the stay was paid for up front. Also the AC in the room never got below 72. We switched rooms because of this. The cleaning service didn’t come either day we stayed. I wouldn’t stay again.

Really enjoyed our stay and will be back! Our room was very clean and comfortable. The rooftop bar was lovely. Staff was very courteous and the free breakfast was delicious (breakfast burritos helped the hangover the next morning lol) Valet parking was mandatory but didn't mind.

SERIOUS HEALTH CODE VIOLATIONS: The most disgusting hotel stay of my life. They put me in a room with a urine-soaked mattress. That is just as horrific as it sounds. This was after first being put in a room with a door that wouldn't lock. They moved us to another room, but it was the wrong room so our key didn't work. We packed up our belongings yet again. They finally moved us to a 3rd room, and when I laid down to sleep that night, I smelled pee. At first I thought it was in my head, but I moved my hand across the sheet, and it was WET! The mattress under the sheet was SOAKED WITH URINE! I laid in someone else's urine in this hotel room. I can't fathom the level of incompetence and lack of protocol that leads to something so horrid. So, at 12:30am, I had to go to the front desk and request a new room. At that point, I was almost in tears and wanted to leave, but my son was already asleep in the other bed, and I just wanted to get us into a room so he could continue sleeping. The front desk person didn't believe me, so he sent the young security guard to my room to see if I was telling the truth. He came into my room, while my young son was sleeping. It felt very unsafe to me, but I figured I didn't have a choice. He photographed and smelled the mattress, but he refused to touch it to see it was still wet. I was told I still needed to pay for my stay, so I am contacting a lawyer and the state health department. Stay away. This hotel is run by amateurs with no clue.

Great hotel if you have an event at hollywood bowl or the greek theatre, or exploring the griffith area. Beautiful decor, amazing rooftop, and great breakfast! The best hotel in this price range in this neighborhood

Stayed for 2 nights. Upon arrival had to wait for a luggage trolley for all our stuff. Checking in was ok, got upstairs only to find out our card was swiping red and our room door wouldn’t open. Had to go back down. Looking around entrance, hallway, noticed it could be cleaner and dusted. Finally in room and it was ok. Needs more lighting. Corners dusty. Needed more cleaning. Shower was open no curtain or door. The valve to turn on shower head was broken and you had to be very careful or the water would slip out into floor and get a puddle. Noticed red hair still clinging on shower wall. Cleaning person didn’t notice that? When was the room last cleaned? It coulda been worst.

We stayed at the Whiskey Hotel on Thursday, October 23rd. We chose to use the valet service for convenience. Upon arrival, the valet attendant was busy assisting another guest and asked us to proceed with check-in, assuring us that our valet ticket would be left at the front desk for check-out. We agreed, thinking that would be fine. After checking in and arriving at our room, within about five minutes, housekeeping entered without knocking or announcing themselves, which made us extremely uncomfortable. Just a few minutes later, another housekeeper did the same thing. When we asked why staff kept entering our room, they couldn’t provide an answer. We reported this immediately to the front desk, who said they would look into it and follow up — but we never received any update. Upon check-out, we mentioned the situation again, and the front desk simply gave us the manager’s card to contact directly. When retrieving our car, the valet attendant asked for the ticket that was supposed to have been left at the front desk. Since it wasn’t there, he became rude and insisted that he had given it to us personally. Even after we calmly explained the situation, he walked away muttering under his breath that we must have it. We later contacted the manager, who apologized and offered to waive the $34.95 resort fee. While we appreciated the gesture, we were left feeling that our concerns weren’t taken seriously or validated. For the price we paid, we were hoping for a better experience

My family and I checked in to the hotel on October 17th around 4:00. Your front staff was accommodating and friendly. The room was pleasant and clean. We left for dinner around 5:00 and returned at 9:00. That is when we noticed how thin the walls are at the hotel. Our neighbors were very loud, we could hear their conversations like they were in our room. They then turned on the television that was even louder. My husband and I could not sleep. I called the front desk to see if we could be moved to another room but unfortunately there was nothing available. Then to make matters worse there was a lady on our floor near the elevator breathing heavily and yelling that her table was missing? After an exhausting day and sitting in traffic to get to the hotel we knew at this point we knew we were not going to get any sleep so decided to leave. We were disappointed to have to leave under these circumstances and to make matters worse we were charged $118 when I already prepaid on Hotels.com? I wasn't given a receipt or breakdown of what the charges were for. I emailed Alejandra (manager) on the 18th with no response. I called on Monday the 19th. Spoke to Maria who said she will speak to Alejandra and call me back. Maria called back with in an hour and said Alejandra would get back to me that day. I have not heard anything since then.
