The property is great for the kids (lots to do, safe, waterslides, activities, kids club etc.). There were a lot of random rules that seemed a bit counter-intuitive (no balls in the kid pool, kids not allowed in the "hot tubs" near the family pool, etc.) and the rules changed the last night we were there on some of these items. Unfortunately, the last night of our stay, the hotel hosted a concert in the courtyard and it was impossible to sleep. The concert ended at 11:00pm and then the large metal stage was taken down until 3am. For a hotel that has so many rules, we were shocked and disappointed. Finally, the food is ok. But reservations for dinner are not allowed-so if you are coming with a large group, be prepared to eat at 8:30pm.

This property was amazing ! The staff speak great English and the food is decent. Restaurants were good and the pool staff were hands down top shelf ! LOVED the jetted tub on the patio I watched the whales & sunset every evening 🙌 The bed I will say is HARD like not even joking HARD. The rooms had the biggest tub iv ever seen for a resort and the hot water was pumping lol we never had an issue with not having hot water. For kids I’d say yes long as you know the beach isn’t swim able, there is slides and the pool isn’t too deep. All and all I think this is a great resort we enjoyed our honeymoon very much so ! ❤️❤️

This property is blaring music from the lobby to each and every pool, even outside the room when you are trying to relax. I have traveled to other Hard rock locations and have had a good experience. However, the decibel levels here are at the same decibel level as a concert. Luckily I had my concert earplugs with me and had to wear them anytime I went to the lobby. I requested another room because they were setting up a concert outside my room and blaring music in the late afternoon when I was trying to nap. If you are 20 and wanting to party your whole stay this is the place to be. When I asked for another room, ,I was told all rooms are either next to a club, next to a pool that blares music and there are no rooms to accomodate the request since this is set up to be a loud resort. Please don't bring kids here or plan on spending any quiet time with a partner because as I was told, this is not possible at the Cabo Hard Rock property.

The check-in took quite a long time with a fairly short line. There was quite a bit of upselling which isn't the most fun thing to go through after a long flight. However, the stay was excellent. The food was great. Rooms were modern and nice. The showers were a bit cold unless you kept them on for 15 minutes. The property was walkable which was nice. The variety of pools was great as was the staff. Other than a couple very minor things the overall stay was excellent.

I stayed at this resort to attend a destination wedding for one of my close friends. The only reason that I gave the resort 4 stars instead of 5 is because I only stayed for 2 days so I feel that my stay wasn't long enough for me to truly give an honest review. However, I will say that the staff was very friendly and attentive to the needs of the guests. The food was really good; I ate at a total of 3 restaurants during my stay. Transportation was easy to set up to and from the airport. Please note that there is a $50 fee for transportation that isn't included in the price of the room/reservation and you must reserve it 72 hours prior to your scheduled departure. I would recommend this property to others. Lastly, please note that March is around the end of the winter in Mexico. I packed shorts and tank tops and it was chilly with wind. Temperatures went from 68 to 73. Very mild weather so pack accordingly!
