Our recent stay at your the Lila Del Palmar property. While I appreciated the convenient location and the enjoyable dinner-and-show experience, I unfortunately encountered some significant issues that impacted the overall quality of my stay.
Firstly, the presence of numerous flies during meal times was extremely unpleasant and detracted from the dining experience. This was a considerable hygiene concern. More importantly, on my first day, I became ill, necessitating a premature departure on the second day.
I commend the staff at the front desk for their prompt and helpful service. They were accommodating in providing a room upgrade to an oceanfront location and provided an earlier check-in time, and they also assisted me in securing a reservation at another Villa resort. I am grateful for their assistance in this difficult situation.
The refund for the unused nights of my stay was greatly appreciated and a fair resolution to the inconvenience caused. However, I do hope you will investigate the fly issue in the dining area to prevent similar experiences for future guests. Addressing the underlying hygiene concerns would significantly improve the guest experience. I also hope that you may consider reviewing your procedures to determine if there were any contributing factors to my illness.
