we took our 19 month old with us and really enjoyed our stay. The buffet food was better than I expected, the restaurants were relatively average. Nothing really to complain about. The restaurant reservations were easy because our concierge helped do the booking, so I guess they've improved this process since previous reviews. I would recommend it for young families.

Paid $600.00 per night for 2 queen beds ocean front. On check in was offered 1 king bed somewhere or 2 twins for extra $100.00 u s after waiting until 3 pm . After much discussion was given room with two beds ocean front. Paid $60.00 u s . For shuttle to airport which was supposed to be free. I’m 77 and don’t need the stress. Very disappointed with Expedia.

This is a great location if you want to go to downtown Cabo. I felt very safe walking outside the resort. The property offered a lot of amenities and the beach is perfect for walking/enjoying small waves. Staff was hit or miss- some were friendly, some not so much.

This is a GREAT hotel. However, I am not giving it a 5 Star for the following reasons: - 40 minutes shuttle ride from the Airport - Their app is basicaly useless and not-usable - Only 3x Restaurants for dine-in and reservations are basically impossible. So, we spent most of our time at the Buffet - Not enough staff appointed to the Pizza/Sushi bar. So, expect long lineups 20-30 minutes or even longers. - The hotel practically shuts down after 5PM so there is really nothing else besides the theater and the buffet afterwards. - The Theater has the same style of shows every night. Good but gets boring after couple of times. - We ordered Water to the room and they charged us $5 on the spot which is UNACCEPTABLE considering it's supposed to be all-inclusive and there's only 2x bottles in the fridge. - No alcohol in the room's fridge and also you can not order alcohol to your room at night. Besdies that, very nice hotel, clean and modern rooms, nice and friendly staff, beautiful beach. Next time we won't be going to this hotel because of the above reasons. But, if that is not important to you then it would be a very decent choice.

I went to Cabo for 2024-2025 new years and ADORED it. I stayed at Corazon and Waldorf. I have many friends with villas as welll. This time I wanted to stay for 9 days so I decided to stay at a cheaper place. BIG mistake. Expedia was nice enough to comp me some point after I tried to refund after the first day but didn’t happen. The staff was rude, the place was dirty. It was loud and the food was HORRIBLE. Im fortunate to have friends there so I only stayed there maybe 4 nights out of the 9. But I would NOT recommend.

Royal Solaris met our expectations for a convenient all inclusive experience with small kids. Room was clean and well equipped, location of room on ground floor was perfect for easy access to both the main pool and kiddie pool/kids club. Kids club was great for little ones to get some movie and activity time (coloring, bracelet making, painting). Kiddie pools had a few slides, good enough to keep kids busy for hours. Main pool is huge with lots of shaded pool chairs, have to place towels to reserve early in the morning. Only issue with the main pool was that water was a bit cold and it was 4 feet all throughout, having 2-3 feet depth variations would be good for smaller kids learning to swim. Staff were courteous and helpful everywhere we went at the property. Dining options at the buffet cafe were nice, good for families. There is a mexican and greek/Mediterranean restaurant which can be reserved for dinner via the app. Add a 4 to the room number when registering in the app. Reservations open up at 7 pm every night. Beach access is great, water is choppy with big waves, need to be careful. Overall an excellent vacation at an affordable price.

You get what you pay for at Royal Solaris- not 5 star luxury, but pretty darn nice. Pros: • Very friendly and attentive staff • Plenty of food options • You can drink the water and use the ice without getting sick • Pools are clean and wonderful • Property and surrounding town is super safe and clean Cons: • You can hear everything in the hallways from the rooms • You can’t swim in the ocean due to riptides which defeats the purpose of having an oceanside resort to me • Shampoo and body wash in the bathrooms suck • Receptionists and gift shop employees were not happy to be there but everyone was lovely Not much to complain about! Overall a lovely experience, including the shuttle service to and from the airport.
