Disappointed with kitchen suite, had to ask for all cookware, dishes & utensils. One bottle of water for two of us. Groceries across the street, not many restaurants in area and not close to Centro. Room including bathroom was huge☺️TV had some issues and just listened to the music on 945. When time to leave, they wouldn’t call us a cab?!?! Not sure why, so had to go over to grocery store and hail one there. We only booked for 3 days and it was sufficient but not for a longer stay.

Very dated. A lot of things just kind of glued together. Kitchenette included, but not a single item beyond mugs. Pool was ice cold, pool chairs sagging. Beds were comfortable though and breakfast (included) was plentiful. There's nicer places to stay for same amount.

Don’t not believe in rating of this place the said hotel and resort but I will tell you it’s dirty motel . I have one day breakfast I suffer for 3 days pain in my stomach

I wanted to like it

Ok so it’s a budget hotel, which I expected. I didn’t expect it to be perfect as I was staying one night and paying for a three star place at best. There are a few things that all hotels should have, hot water and a clean room. I have traveled the world on business and pleasure so my expectations were fully aligned. The hotel was certainly dated, which for the price was expected. The room was mostly clean, the bathroom was a little questionable from a cleanly standpoint. Seemed like they just put new towels in the room from the last guest. The shower didn’t have hot water for about 10 mins and water pressure was really weak. As a full time traveler living on a sailboat, when I say the water pressure is weak I mean it. Pros: 1) The price was great, not the cheapest in Cabo but location was good. 2) No signs if bugs 3) Room had a fridge and microwave Cons 1) No hot water and water pressure was so bad I wondered if my unit had an issue. 2) Went for free continental breakfast (just wanted a coffee) and as I walked in was greeted that I needed a ticket. She was rude and told me I had to leave. They don’t mention it when I checked in, or why didn’t they just give it to me. I just left as I figured if they were that rude it couldn’t be that good anyway. Asked about ticket when I checked out and they asked if I would like one :) Poor experience for sure. 3) Room was really dated, lots of songs, paint coming off walls, ceiling tiles ajar.

OK with a few frustrations

The hotel is dated and in need of some upgrades. We had multiple rooms and had issues with one of them with no hot water. Another had a toilet that didn’t work properly. At the front desk, we heard similar complaints. It was ok to stay here especially for its location.

We like staying at the Santa Maria hotel and do so often. This visit two pillows were missing pillow cases and garbage from the prior guest was still in one trash can. The quality of the mattresses between rooms is inconsistent, with some good and some thin and hard. It was very loud on Saturday night with guests being loud and disrespectful. Yelling and talking loudly.

Room was disgusting and looked nothing like the photos… there were bugs in the room, paint was peeling off of the walls, the soap dispenser was broken, the drapes did not cover the windows fully, the drapes had holes and were discolored, and all of the light bulbs were different colors. I could hear everything the people were doing in the rooms around me, including lots of door slamming and screaming.
