Member of staff very helpful in showing me how to use the code for the electric locks which was lucky i met him. Then once in the room it felt like a prison cell i persume. No side lamp no chair ,shared bathroom featureless decor just white.no kettle although i was told about the communal kitchen . Very noisy as you can hear other guests through the thin walls.Hall light kept on coming on and off. And when people left their rooms assuming they were going to the shared batroom those electric locks kept on making a beeping sound when the door opens and closes. I had a terrible nights sleep . Not that impressed.

I had travelled alot that day and was exhausted. No brew facilities, you had go phyiscally into a kitchen and pay for one by credit card. Was a mini room and en suite. No bedside light just the main one. I had the last room. The walls were thin, had a guy next door with mental issues i was only told about after i complained, swearing at himself until 2am, then started sgain at 6am, i got fed up and left. Security system key coding into building then into room was a joke. A so called security guard had a dog that didnt stop barking, nightmare place

Very basic. Coded entrance to rooms which was constantly left open even during the night so no security. This is not an apart hotel. No facilities to make coffee or cook. Very VERY basic rooms with stark white walls and almost nothing else. TV took me a while to sort out so it now works. No noise insolation so people coming in at night could be heard. This place is not as advertised. Would I stay again? Definitely not.

My room was cancelled but I wasn't notified. They sorted another room for me (instead of private bathroom, shared one) and gave me some money back but still, it was stresfull as I thought they were going to send me away in the middle of the night...

The only good things were free parking, a warm room and clean sheets. The bed itself (base was dirty) the toilet area was shared and was dirty. No free breakfast although said included. No free tea or coffee facilities,£2 for a cup of tea. Paper thin walls and flickering hall lights. Customer service did not respond to any messages. Sadly I would not stay here again nor recommend this property. Paid £50+ for a dump Expedia should remove this property. I nearly slept in my car. I do feel terrible as I have never left a poor review before but I am being honest.

Overall, the hotel did its job, but definitely improvements to be made. The first time I tried the online check in, it didn't work, but the page told me to wait whilst it loaded the details so I wasn't sure if it was working or not. The second time everything went through. We arrived later than our given expected time, which was no issue, but our access code didn't work for our apartment. Huge shout out to the gentleman on call (sorry I didn't get your name!) who immediately picked up the phone and sorted us out, even at 11pm. Made a stressful start much less so! The corridor areas of the building smelled like wet dog to me, which wasn't particularly pleasant. The room was basic but fine for a night's stay. There was a good sized under-the-counter fridge and a microwave. The bathroom could have done with a little more cleaning and the water temperature was a little temperamental, plus the bathroom door didn't properly close. Being close to East Midlands airport, you had people coming and going at all times, and unfortunately, we could hear each one of them go up and down the stairs! Might have just been the location of the room though. All in all, it was a convenient location for us and did the job for a night's stay, but I wouldn't stay for much longer. We didn't use the communal facilities so no comment on that. For the price it was fine.

Lovely stay

Lovely convienient hotel needs a bit of up keep but certainly 9k for a night or too. Comfy bed, other guests were a bit inconsiderate but thats nit the hotels fault wouls stay again

Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place unless you’re stuck for options. The only part of my room that was (or seemed) clean was the sheets on the bed but a friend of mine had bedbugs in hers. Really grim shared bathroom: dirty, full of spiders. Building smelt of cigarettes (although room didn’t). Didn’t get the code to get in my room until 10pm on day of arrival. Just honestly a terrible experience.

OYO - Disaster!!!

A complete disaster, the code provided opened front door but did not work for the room. When I called customer services they were unhelpful and incompetent. They could not find the reservation code provided by hotels.com and told me to contact hotels.com directly (very difficult). Eventually some overheard me speaking to the customer service representative and called someone at the location who "helps" with problems. Very very poor! I would never stay at this location or any other associated locations again.

Where is my refund & how do I get my money back!?

We arrived on time, we completed the check in form but were not given any codes to access our room. We contacted the OYO 24/7 check-in help desk and they were no help, they asked us to contact Hotels.com. When attempting to contact Hotels.com there was no visible number and I was speaking to a robot/AI system that just continued to send me the same information I already had. I am yet to find a way of contacting Hotels.com, and am yet to receive any money back. OYO were no help and continued to repeat the same phrase time and time again. If anybody see's this, think twice before booking anywhere related to OYO.

When booking the room online it showed a kettle in the room but none provided, only one available was the one in the communal kitchen; found it odd when you had a fridge, microwave and toaster in the room we had; and no mugs, etc in the room. Cleaning wasn't at its best as you could clearly see loads of fluff and dust under the cupboard unit. Tired looking is what Id describe it as

Was nice area and room but the bathroom with the shower there wasn’t really anything to stop the water from the shower flooding the bathroom so only one of us ended up having a shower to prevent any more flooding
