Convenient location, close to lots of eateries and accessible to the freeway. The room was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. The 3 cons were 1) the door to out room was heavy and a struggle to open and or hold open. 2) th e door to the room opens to the sink and closet area, so if your spouse is coming in and you are half dressed and or going int the shower anyone in the hallway can see you 3) the hotel provides a bat of soap for thr sink but nothing to put the soap on. We used the cardboard sleeve for the coffee cup as a holder.

The hotel itself is decent and rooms clean. I'm not a fan of the every other day cleaning etc., but they do say if you need anything to call them. Breakfast is a bit of a task as you order from front desk, then it gets delivered (eventually) to a small area. If its busy (and it was), then its a bit of a pain. Likewise, if you grab a water or something, then you have to pay at front desk. Front desk staff were super polite so that was good. Also, standout staff member for me was Lauren in the bar - great service, great attitude. - recommend her cocktail of Old Fashion, but made with Rum - excellent :-)

Great location on Whiskey Row with a modern vibe and a great view of the restoration and preservation of the historic buildings on the street. It is steps from the Louisville Comedy Club, a hilarious venue with accomplished comedians.
