Nice Hotel, but don’t count on the shuttle service

The room was clean and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Our issues were with the hotel’s shuttle service. We stayed to attend the Larger Than Life festival and the hotel provided shuttle service to and from the event. On the third day of the festival, the shuttle took around 45 minutes to pickup from the hotel because they were “getting gas”. The worst was the pickup from the festival. The shuttle took an hour to return for the final pickup. When they finally arrived, there weren’t enough seats and around 20 of us were left stranded. The driver just shrugged her shoulders and said it was her last trip. Ended up having to pay over $40 for an Uber and wasted nearly 2 hours.

My husband and I absolutely loved this property. We will be returning! The room was spacious, very clean, modern. Quiet. We felt safe. There was a hotel shuttle to and from the event we attended. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. My only complaint was that the pizza we ordered from the restaurant wasn’t as large as we expected. Derby City Gaming, we’ll see you again September 2026!
