Just what I needed for my conference stay.

Housekeeping was attentive but not intrusive, check in was easy, location was great - short walk to the river, convention center and horse track. Lots of food and nightlife within walking distance. Cheap parking lots and garages nearby to avoid the $45 per night valet (no dedicated self parking garage unfortunately). The breakfast offerings were ample with an omelette bar, hot cereal, fresh waffles and pancakes, potatoes, fruit and a variety of breads and bagels for the toaster. They even have vegan butter and milk alternatives. Pool is small but clean and serene, located down on the lower level away from most of the crowd. They even have a free happy hour with snacks and drinks from 5:30-7 pm every day.

Staff was great as were the breakfast and nightly reception. Parking was very hectic and congested and very expensive. The valets were great but were sprinting two blocks to get vehicles and it was very chaotic.

Overall the stay was good at the property and we enjoyed the breakfast included , the staff was always friendly . Our only complaint was our bed , the mattress was horrible and we both woke up all 4 nights with Terrible back pain and did not rest well on our vacation. Other than that everything else was good
