Peaceful, yet only 4km (2.48 miles) to Vilamoura Marina and beaches. Walkable to Dom Pedro golf course (and others), and a short ride to Aquashow. Three bedrooms, a king size bed /double bed/twin beds. Two on-site swimming pools, coffee shop/bakery, restaurant, Spar minimarket and a free ATM. Free parking on site. The bus stop, to explore further, is just outside.

The construction of this village was a monumental undertaking at the time, with British company Norwest Holst overseeing the project. Local architects, the Mayor, and the government closely monitored the development, underscoring its significance to the region.

This unique holiday let is situated on the former grounds of the historic Quinta do Morgado, with its roots dating back to a Quarterian farm. The name "Vilamoura" was coined in the 1960s to lend a luxurious image to the area and promote tourism.

The site is adorned with flourishing orange, Seville orange, lime, pomegranate, quince, fig, and olive trees, available for guests to enjoy (in season), with care.

A highlight of this property is the awe-inspiring 460-year-old olive tree, a living testament to the area's rich history. However, it pales in comparison to the oldest olive tree, located in the nearby village of Pedras d'El Rei, just west of Tavira, estimated to be approximately 2,048 years old, a living relic from the time when the Moors ruled Portugal.
