Loviisa Floating House is a stunning Nordic home built directly on the sea, with open views across Loviisa Bay toward the town and church. Designed for year-round stays, it accommodates up to 8 guests with bright living spaces, a well-equipped kitchen, upstairs workspace, electric sauna, electric grill and a large terrace right by the water. Just 1 km from Loviisa centre, it offers a rare seaside stay close to cafés, the harbour, coastal walks and the old wooden town.


Loviisa Floating House stands out because of its setting: the home is built directly on Loviisa Bay, with views toward the town, harbour and church. Completed for the 2023 Loviisa Housing Fair, it gives guests the chance to stay in one of the area’s most distinctive homes.

Inside, the house combines Nordic design with practical comfort. The living area has a large sofa, sea-facing windows and a well-equipped kitchen with Siemens equipment and dining space for up to 8 guests. Upstairs, there is a dedicated work desk for remote work or longer stays.

The house accommodates up to 8 guests across two bedrooms and two sofa beds. There are two bathrooms, including one upstairs with an electric sauna. Outside, the large terrace, jacuzzi and electric grill make the sea-facing outdoor space a key part of the stay.

Located around 1 km from central Loviisa, the house is close to cafés, restaurants, the guest harbour, wooden house areas and coastal walking routes.
