Check in was quick & easy, initially. But when we got to the room we noticed that it was a shower only, no tub. (We initially thought we booked a room with a tub). So we asked if we can get a room with a tub and the desk said since we booked with hotels.com we are unable to change. We thought maybe they didn’t work with us because the hotel was thoroughly booked, but this was not the case. There were plenty of rooms available. This is sad because every hotel we have booked over the past decade have been able to work with us if there was a room change of the same price. If anyone books thru hotels.com to this hotel, be advised of their lack of making adjustments.

The room was okay but needed a fresh coat of paint. Microwave smelled bad. The bathroom had rust all over the walls and the door was loud and hard to close. The carpet was dirty and not vacuumed.

The room was extremely dirty, with dust throughout. We used the pull-out bed, which was very dusty and had trash and dust along the edges. Even the sofa pillows had visible dust on them. The breakfast was acceptable, but nothing exceptional.

There was a 4-hour widespread power outage during our first night that affected the hotel. The staff was very courteous, and we were given a discount for that night. The room was clean; the breakfast was very good.

I chose this property because of the excellent online reviews, but unfortunately that was not my experience. The room was filthy and clearly neglected, far from what I expected. I never usually complain, but this was too much. The only positives were that the beds were clean and the daytime staff was friendly, but the overall lack of cleanliness overshadowed everything else. I won’t be returning and cannot recommend this property.
