Even though I asked to pay at property, they told me they already charged the card in file at 3:00 even though we showed up at 5. Rooms were not very clean. There was a dead roach in our room and other friends staying there at the same time were sharing their rooms were dirty. Stained sheets, dirty bathrooms and even found pizza behind the pullout couch.

The place was nice on the outside but it definitely needs a renovation. The restroom was rusty on the outside of the shower stall and there was some weird brown stuff that came out from the drain when we would take a shower. Overall, it was ok for a night.

Room for Improvement—Literally

This was my first time staying at this hotel and probably my last. The building itself looked nice, but once I got into the room, things went downhill. The first thing I noticed was the stained carpet and chair. The carpet was also frayed around the edges, which didn’t give the best impression. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable; it felt like sleeping on rocks. I woke up sore every morning, to the point that I actually cut my trip short (and I was visiting my new grandson!) just so I could get back to my own bed. I was excited to see a rain shower head in the bathroom, but that excitement faded quickly when barely any water came out due to clogged holes. On top of that, there was no conditioner in the wall dispenser. That seems like something that should be routinely checked when cleaning the room. I wouldn’t call myself bougie, but I do expect a basic level of comfort and cleanliness when staying at a hotel. Unfortunately, this stay didn’t meet that mark.

Room was not very clean upon arrival. Bathroom mirror was dirty, shower was dirty, there was no hand soap or body wash. Ice machine and juice machine were not working. The lobby was very disheveled and overall cleanliness of the hotel in general was disappointing.
