The Wash Rag was torn,the bathroom door did not have a hinge pin on the upper hinge and the door would not close fully, the Tub Faucet was twisted and did not function properly,the shelf under the Bathroom Sink was covered in dust and so was the Bathroom floor,the Carpets had not been vacuumedl, theToilet Had not been Secured to the Floor and was Rocking Back and Forth, The Lamp was not functioning properly and the blunds wouldn't close fully. We asked for 50% off and we had to find another room ELSEWHERE! WE REFUSE TO PAY FOR THE SECOND NIGHT! THE ACCOMMODATIONS WERE TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE I SHOWED PICTURES TO THE MANAGER LOU. The front-desk staff was excellent professional - responsive - very accommodating. What ruined the stay is that even AFTER I requested the room to be made EVERY DAY (it's not like I get a discount for having dirty towels and an unmade bed) and which the staff acknowledged and assured me it would be done - Housekeeping somehow decided on their own that they are too good to follow instructions. I do not care for coming to my room tired from a full day of work and finding in unmade - if I wanted NO housekeeping service I would get an Air B n B! - MAKE THE DARN ROOMS EVERY DAY! this is UNACCEPTABLE!

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel is conveniently located near our daughter's apartment who we were visiting. The room was average at best, certainly not worth the jacked up rate of $400+ per night due to being a Texas Tech Family/football game weekend. The bathroom was dirty (toilet bowl stained, tile cracked in the shower, caulking was dirty, drain in shower and sink did not drain well/clogged). The beds were fairly comfortable. If the rate was around $100 per night, I could maybe understand, but certainly not worth the exorbitant pricing taking advantage of the high-demand situation.
