Worth it!

There were a couple things that could be improved on, but the cleanliness was great, the staff was very helpful and friendly, the bed was comfy and much better than most hotel mattresses. We would definitely stay here again especially for the price!!

NOT SAFE!!!

We stayed at La Quinta Inn - North on the night of 9/6/25 while we visited our daughter in college. We were awoken by a thug trying to break into our hotel room on the 3rd floor at 3:00 am. He was trying to jimmy the lock and covering the peep hole. My husband quickly rammed the door to prevent him from coming in. The guy kept attempting to break in. My husband kept saying “you’ve got the wrong room!” But the guy kept at it. He was kicking the door over and over and trying to push the door hard. He never said one word while trying to break in. My daughter called 911 immediately while I was on the phone with the front desk. The clerk was super blasé about it and just asked me if I called the police and then hung up on me after I said yes. The police arrived within 5 minutes and caught the guy but the guy told them he got the wrong room. Yet, why was he covering the peep hole and continued kicking the door even after my husband kept telling him that he had the wrong room?!!! He didn’t leave until he heard the police siren!! We spoke to the manager and he did nothing about it. We have never had any safety issues in any other hotel ever, not even at hotels in Mexico and that’s saying a lot! My 14 year old and 18 year old daughters are completely traumatized by the whole ordeal! Don’t stay at this hotel!

Awful hotel. Dirty and in need of renovation. They gave us a room without a working toilet. When I asked them to fix it they said do you want us to give you a plunger. I said no. They said they don't have maintenance. I asked them to fix it while we left for the game. We returned late at night to find the attendant asleep at his desk and nothing done about the toilet. Also $5 for a soda!

Property needs a major upgrade and much better maintenance. Room smoke alarm went off multiple times for no reason. Toilet seat wasn't even hinged. Very dated iin poor condiiton overall. No cleaning service. Two outside doors broken. Stay somewhere else.

Horrible stay

The room was extremely humid the A/C barely pushed air out, the elevator stopped working and with a new born child having to carry 3 flights of stairs and your stuff you can only use one specific side to go up 3 flights of stairs which is on the opposite side of where we were staying. the tv completely just turned off on us and never worked again, we informed the desk they tried to fix the tv while we were in our room eating instead of just bringing a new tv they wanted to moves us rooms at 1am I told them no we will be checking out in the morning and it’s been 4 business days and I still haven’t received my deposit back.

Absolutely disgusting!

The outside of the hotel isn’t taken care of & not only did the hotel have an odor, our rooms (we had 2) had dirt on the bathroom floor but the entire rooms smelled of old urine & the ac was blowing musty air. Had to ask the clerk for deodorizer at midnight. Couldn’t sleep & had a massive headache from the stench.

They need alot of upgrades. The shower didn't look clean. The shower head had alot white stuff cake aorund where the water comes out. It was so bad we didn't use the shower. We didn't have time to check the entire room till we got back that night due to time. It was very dusty in the room. The window seals was not clean. I will not be going back.

The property was dirty. Floors needed to be mopped from the lobby all the way into and including the elevator. The floor in the elevator was never mopped the entire four days of our stay. The walls looked like a low bid paint job was completed in the whole facility. Areas where items are on the wall were painted around and obviously not removed or well masked. Our TV was full of snow and was tiny as if someone had replaced the one that was there with an older model. Overall just a tacky property we will not return and will seek other accommodations elsewhere on our next visit.
