A break from the road.

We stayed because of a dust storm, and the wifi wasn’t working probably because of the storm. The electric outlets were very slow charging- not sure if it was because of the storm or just how it is. The front desk sent an 8 am text asking when they could expect my checkout-Checkout was set for 11 am- so, expect it then. I’ve never stayed at a place that asked me to PRE- checkout. Overall, this place was shelter in a storm, but you could hear everything in the hall, the place is animal friendly so lots of pet owners with pets on their travels. Inconvenient if you are allergic.

Despite the haboob, this place was prestine and friendly. We had an early morning so we didbt get to enjoy breakfast since it wasnt until 7am. That was a bummer. Other guests were extremely loud throughout the night but we ignored it and slept well. Wonderful. Will stay again. My only suggestion is that if you text saying you're happy to bring up pillows, then do it. Text twice and nada.

Don’t ask for a quiet room

All we wanted was to eat our dinner and go to bed. Unfortunately we were put next to a family that never stopped making loud conversation and after the kids and dogs settled the adults started back up to the point they started arguing with each other. Till 3 am. We finally got up and left to finish our travels.

Lady in kitchen needed help with breakfast preparation...was behind getting everything out. Lady working front desk casually walking around and sipping on her drink while someone else struggled. Potatoes she "helped " prepared were horrible..filled with water. She knew it and still left them out for guests to put on their plate. Need more than one person in breakfast area.
