Cute and quaint rooms in a great location, next to the walls of Lucca. The area is quiet at night and safe to walk. Check-in was a little tricky, but we figured it out. Rooms were clean. No AC, so may be uncomfortable in the warmer season.

Very good value for the price. Room looked like the pictures. Some things were not mint condition, for example cracked sink and small stains in the bottom of the toilet, nothing that bothered us though. When we arrived there was a hair in the toilet even though it had a "cleaned" seal. Everything else was clean though. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Nice and convenient terrace. Good location, not at all an issue to be situated right outside the Lucca walls. Did not receive the check in instructions even though my contact info was updated in the app, but the host was quick to help us with this. Majority of communication was through an AI on WhatsApp which sometimes confused things, but host was quick to sort this out as well. Could stay here again if we came back.

Helt okej boende till rimligt pris centralt i Lucca. Bara 200 m från en stor parkering där man står säkert och i stort sett gratis. Efter kommunikation på Whatsup så var det inget problem med in- eller utcheckning

Enkelt, men mycket trevligt rum

Obefintlig information om incheckning. 30 minuter efter ankomst till låst boende, kom information på WhatsApp. Men efter strul med incheckning och tillgång, får vi ett enkelt men mycket trevligt rum med sköna säng. Bra läge, ca 5 minuters promenad till stadsport en.

Location was great

Great location for visiting Lucca old town. Parking can be a challenge here. Communication was clear allowing us access to the building and our rooms. The A/C was not working and it was very hot upon arrival. The weather cooled significantly over night and kept us from roasting but the non-working A/C is an issue. The room was clean and otherwise comfortable. The internet worked okay. We did not see or directly interact with any personnel on site.

No air conditioning and attitude problem

We booked this hotel a year in advance for the Lucca Summer Festival concerts. On arrival we were told the air conditioning had 'just' stopped working. We were lead up to the attic room. We asked if there were any other rooms with working air conditioning as it was mid 30s and even hotter in the roof. No other rooms 'in fact I could have rented your room for 200 euros, there's a concert on tonight', so I assume we should be grateful to be cooked in the attic at least we have a room? Charming! We were very lucky, there was a storm in the night so we felt the roof cool down, clay roof tiles one metre above your sleeping face give out quite a lot of heat. When we checked out the next day we asked if the air conditioning was going to be fixed, and the same chap pleaded ignorance, 'oh is it not working?'

This is a delightful family run property located perfectly in Lucca. The rooms are charming and the general atmosphere lovely. We stayed there last year to attend the Lucca Summer Festival and the same again this year - actually on two separate occasions. There is no doubt we will do the same next year!!
