2 nights in Lucerne

Hotel great for station ,transport and sightseeing . Very friendly reception and breakfast staff. We were upgraded to superior double with balcony,( room 59). Big room, airy with comfy beds. Good bathroom with large shower. Work going on inside and outside hotel, but was not really a problem. Could really be better if room had coffee maker and fridge. Wi-fi worked well. Overall, really good accommodation , fantastic view of Alps from balcony. Price was very good compared to other hotels in area. Breakfast at sister hotel next door had good selection.

Es hiess der Check-in ab 16 Uhr möglich, ich kam um 17 Uhr an und stand vor geschlossener Tür! Hinweis: Check-in im Hotel Monopol. Dort war der Empfang aber sehr freundlich. Im Hotel Alpina habe ich die ganze Zeit kein Personal gesehen. Wie soll ich also Personal und Service beurteilen?
