It has a reputation for fine foods, award-winning restaurants, speciality and antique shops and even a racecourse.

There are public paths from the property which guests can use to walk into the town or to visit one of the many pubs or restaurants. An excellent base to explore the unrivalled countryside for picnicking and walking, or nearby towns such as Bridgnorth and Bewdley (Severn Valley Railway), Ironbridge, Much Wenlock, Church Stretton, Tenbury Wells and Leominster.
