The living area has a comfortable sofa, a flat-screen TV plus a dining table and chairs. The modern kitchen is off the living room, separated by a breakfast bar. Whether you are in Lugano for business or pleasure, there is plenty for you to enjoy during your stay. The apartment’s central location makes it very easy to explore the city on foot.

Lugano is in the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland and combines the best of both cultures. This heritage is celebrated at MASI (the Museum of Art of Italian Switzerland) (20-minute walk).

A day trip on the Lago Lugano is a must. Lugano Centrale ferry terminal is only a 3-minute walk from the apartment. Lugano’s famous waterfront, with breathtaking views over the lake, is close by. Another favourite is Piazza della Riforma (2-minute walk), the heart of the city. It is a beautiful square lined with good restaurants and cafés.

For self-catering, there are many excellent food shops in the city, as well as the farmers market on Tuesday and Friday in Via Carducci (5 minutes walk).

The closest international airports are in Italy - Milan Malpensa 1 hour and 10 minutes away by car, or Milan Linate, a 1 hour and 30 minute journey.

The apartment was clean, comfortable and very convenient to the central area of Lugano. Communication with the management company before and during our stay was very good. The towels, bed linens, dishes, cutlery and cooking pans were all very nice. We did eat out a lot, but preferred to make breakfast at the apartment. The reason we could not give a 5 star rating is that we felt the kitchen amenities fell short given the price being paid. We booked a five night stay and were provided with only one dishwasher pod and a tiny bottle of liquid soap for doing dishes in the sink. Items such as a dish drainer, parchment paper, more than one dish towel, hot pad for handling hot items from the oven and other basic utensils would have been most helpful.
