Solo Getaway for Peace and Quiet

If youre looking for a secluded and quiet getaway to not be bothered on then this is your place. Its affordable, private, and very basic. There was trash left in places in the room like behind the side tables and under the bed. The TV was broken. The carpet is shredding. But honestly, i paid for a cheap quiet cabin and just wanted peace and I got exactly that. I intentionally wanted something off the beaten path. There are some trails behind the propery as well. Those were nice to explore.

One of the reasons i stay at Wyndahm hotels is they are "smoke free". The smell of cigarettes permeated the lobby and was choking me in the elevator. 😞

First, wrong room, no couch. second room was not cleaned, towels on floor, ect. To their credit , they did upgrade us to a suite finally for the third room. So from checkin to room, it was 2 hrs. Free Breakfast was excellent.

Don’t believe the good reviews…

They put us in a room that the door wouldn’t shut and latch. There was obvious damage to the door and it had received recent repairs to the wall around the door frame. When we went back downstairs and told them, it’s like they didn’t believe us. We asked if they could put us in a 1st floor room, and they said they didn’t have any king beds available on 1st floor and couldn’t put us in anything but that kind of room(even though they were the same price online). Also, the elevator was pretty sketchy. Needless to say, we left and went to the Best Western Plus instead.

Favorite hotel in the area

We ALWAYS stay at this hotel when we come to town...which is often. It is always CLEAN, comfortable, and right off the interstate. There is plenty of parking and it is close to 2 major gas stations, one being Bucees.
