The location is great, with easy access to Lutsen Mountains ski resort. Check in was easy. The room was clean and comfortable. The microwave worked. The shower needs maintenance: refill the body wash dispenser and tighten the handle on the shower mix valve.

Never spoke with, nor saw, any staff. The room was clean. What kept it from being excellent was mostly the bathroom: - the toilet was not attached to the floor and wobbled - the jets in the tub did not work, and the water there never got "hot" (the shower was fine) - the bathroom was always cold. One last nit was that the regulator knob on the (very) small refrigerator was loose; items on the bottom shelf froze.

We love that area, but truly the best thing was the price, I know it is off season, so it's is wasn't going to be busy. Getting that nice room for $66 a night was incredible. The room was lovely. We are retired, so during the week lower prices make us want to come back soon.

All i can say is it was truly amazing, the room was very nice. Close to the ski hill. The lake right outside. The walking path was great. sitting down by the lake watching the stars with a drinks was a highlight. Over great trip Thank you. I will return sooner vs later. !!!!!
