Disliked: Room comfort
No parking no communication, lots of noise, smell
To start off on a good note, the apartment is ok and spacious the Wi-Fi and tv working. The trouble started when we wanted to park the car, arriving late Friday driving from Denmark, we were anxious to start our vacation. We had received information a picture of the garage belonging to this apartment, but none of the four keys worked. They couldn’t even get into the keyhole, we called the contact number at hotels.com and were redirected to Lux Flats. I explained the situation and a kind man said he would find a solution and call back. He never did. In the meantime, a man arrived, wanting to park in one of the garages. He said that it was not the right key and btw even if it had worked, the garage was filled with stuff. I called again and was told that noone had ever complained the keys didn’t work, and to take pictures and videos of the keys and the garage, which I did. Never hear back, when I called again the message ‘we are away’, it was 17:00 and they had gone home for the weekend! We stayed 5 days and no solution was found, ridiculous ‘service’. It is difficult the find parking in Luxembourg, the only reason we rented this apartment with private parking. There is a lot of noise from incoming flights from 6:00, loud enough to wake you up. And sometimes the bedroom smells of smoke, probably from the neighbours. The kitchen is nice, but not a lot off gear if you want to cook and no working wine opener! Nothing deluxe. I expect a big refund, but have still heard nothing back☹
