Enjoyed our stay at Grand Hotel. Our room was amazing; nice, clean and big with a large bathroom. The A/C did not seem to cool down our room much - luckily it was a little rainy while we were there and opening the windows helped. Elevator is small and we had to carry our large suitcases up a small staircase to get to the room once on our floor. But nothing substantial that would deter me from staying here again. Great location - quick walk to Vieux Lyon and rue Merciere where there are a TON of restaurants (we recommend the pizza at Figlio). Highly recommend

Multiple problems with air conditioning, had to change rooms and had more problems with it in the new room when it started leaking water at midnight. It doesn’t feel like a four star hotel in any way. Good location is the positive.

Not a 4 star hotel at all. Do not stay here.

Property is not remotely similar to what’s listed. The pool had the heat cranked up, and there is no AC. Having a unit on the wall that doesn’t work does not count as having it. There’s weird posters in the hall about being on the site of beheadings, murder, and pigs eating human remains. If you’re into that great, but it was creepy. This is not a 4 star hotel, a 2 star at best.

Great value in central Lyon

Loved this hotel. Fantastic central location within walking distance of everything but quiet street. Our rooms were spacious and very clean with updated bathrooms. Staff were very helpful. Would definitely stay there again next time in Lyon

A nice hotel in a central location ideal for sightseeing. Friendly staff with a decent sized room and comfortable bed, but no in-room coffee making or even kettle. Possibility to exchange room service for a drinks voucher is a nice idea.

Location, amenities, service - all was la grand. I spent two days in the hotel, couldn't leave due to a condition. The staff deserves a bonus that's how professional they are. La Grand. I only walked one hour around the area on day 2.

Amazing hotel at a great price

The hotel was in a great location and was easy to get anywhere in Lyon. It was a traditional hotel that was extremely beautiful. It also had a pool that was totally unexpected for me. I never expected a pool in a downtown Lyon hotel.

The relaxation pools were a nice feature. The rest of the property was clean and in good condition. The room was clean, with a reasonably comfortable bed. The neighbourhood was central and very convenient for getting to several popular spots.

Beautiful Charming Hotel

Hotel is in great location in the old town. My room was beautiful with antique furniture. Comfortable bedding and heavy black out curtains. Everything was sumptuous and old world. Had a lovely tub in the bathroom
