The negatives: It was not clear to us that the hotel did not have any front desk staff. The shower leaked terribly onto the floor. The toilet ran off and on all day and night. On the positive side, the location was great, it was easy to get in and out, the furniture was nice, and the bed was comfortable.

The location is great. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area. The apartment has everything that you need. Even an iron I did not realize when I booked it that the bedrooms was upstairs. Had to be careful at night

Amazing find! Large room very tastefully decorated and well equipped right in the centre of Lille. Slightly awkward to access with a pushchair due to narrow entrance and stairs, but worth it!

This was an unmanned property. Check-in however was done via email with codes for all doors & elevator. Our door was a bit sticky, but we dealt with it. Location was absolutely Perfect! Easy walking to everything in the OLD TOWN area.

Old town Lyon was an amazing spot to explore. The room was nice. Big comfy bed and shower. The door to our room did not work properly. The first couple of days the key pad worked but my husband had to ram his shoulder into the door to open it. Then the key pad stopped working. We were stuck in the hall waiting for a response from Natasha. Luckily a worker passed by but could not fix problem so we were given a key.

You don’t get what you book 
.

I am traveling with a friend and reserved a 2 bed room, which was confirmed in writing. 3 days before arrival, I received an email showing one bedroom, one bed. When I showed tvem the confirmation, they said that 2 people only got one bed and that we needed to pay more for 2 beds. Knowing I would not find another place in Vieux Lyon, I paid. Took it up with Hotels.com, and they did nothing. I think one should receive what they booked and will not stay here or use Hotels.com again.

The building was a converted very old building. It was safe and clean and the room was very quaint and well decorated. However the A/C would not turn on, and yes I know how turn on the air, it was quite warm. I emailed the booking person and she gave me instructions on how to turn it on. It was uncomfortable all night, never turned on. We went out and when we returned our code opened the outside door but not our room. We had to call the emergency number to get an alternate way to enter. Btw day two no air still. The shower door wouldn’t close tight so a lot of water pooled on the floor. We wiped it so it wouldn’t leak to a lower floor.

Lovely Vieux Lyon

The room was lovely, very comfortable and is in such a great locale. The staff were so helpful and everything was as, or more than as advertised. Beautiful historic room with lots of creature comforts.

I loved how unique each suite is and that it's right in Old Town Lyon. It was unfortunate that the elevator wasn't working and neither was my digital room code, however luckily the office replied to my email quickly and I was able to use the physical key from the lockbox to get in to my room.

A fantastic location

A perfect stay. Love the self check in features, as well as the amazing room with a wealth of features and importantly this time of year, air conditioning which you can control with the MiHotel app. The location is incredible too. A short walk from the river and surrounded by beautiful cafe culture and shops. If I had two minor issues, the 5pm check in is quite late in the day for a hotel, but understand the reasons for this and the in room mini bar is incredibly expensive, which puts you off wanting to buy anything.

A good stay in Vieux Lyon

The room was fantastic -- comfortable bed, lovely shower//vanity area, good closet space. No desk or table if you want to work or eat in. The location could not be better -- center of the old town and easy walking distance to the attractions/transit, and wonderful restaurants abound. Beware: There is no desk presence. We checked in on a Saturday and there was no heat; the 24-hour number gave no response. We could not contact management until Sunday morning after sleeping in our warm clothing. We received a portable heater Sunday afternoon and the heating was fixed on Monday. We enjoyed the MiHotel suite and would return despite this shortcoming.

The space was nice and roomy for 3 of us. I gave 4 stars due to some warn carpet that probably could be replaced and the fact the fireplace(nice feature) stopped working. They provided us with everything we needed. The beds were very comfy. The bathroom was new and very clean. the location is excellent. Lots of shopping and restaurants right outside the entrance. Another reason for 4 stars was the elevator makes a big drop between 2nd and 3rd floor that scared the daylights out of me every time we went up to our room. Please fix it! The place was very easy to find and to use the codes to enter both the main entrance and the apartment. We enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend it.
