Very disappointing experience.
As two women traveling alone, arriving after dark to an unfamiliar town was stressful enough, but this hotel made the situation even worse. Communication was difficult because very few staff members, including management, spoke English, leaving us feeling unsupported and uncertain about our options.
The hotel itself was not what we expected. The lobby appeared old, shabby, and poorly maintained. The overall atmosphere felt more like a budget hostel than a hotel. While we were there, several guests were openly complaining about the lack of showers in their rooms and mentioned having to pay an additional 15 soles to use a shower in a common area near the lobby.
The property did not provide the comfort, cleanliness, or professionalism we expected from a hotel. Instead of feeling welcomed and safe, we felt anxious and disappointed from the moment we arrived.
I would not stay here again and would encourage other travelers, especially women traveling alone, to carefully research alternative accommodations.
