Perfect spot; excellent service

Great location for a Mackinac Island getaway! Porters take luggage from the ferry to the hotel and then straight to your room at checkin. Continental breakfast was simple yet delicious. Lobby decor was adorable and lots of seating to relax.

Beautiful older buildings. Rooms in one building have no elevators so you need to walk up 2-4 flights of stairs. Our room was small with a shared balcony. One morning I had the balcony door open to get some fresh air, and someone from another room came into my room. Nice to have a free breakfast included as it is very expensive to eat on the island. The hotel is a short walk to Main Street. They offer porter service to and from the docks which is very nice.

Our first visit to Harbor View after coming several times to Mackinac Island. Harbor View is a beautiful place with helpful and attentive staff. Our family of five has a suite that fits us all very well even with three teenage boys.

Wonderful experience

We enjoyed our stay at the Harbor View very much. The rooms were great, and the setup for our family was perfect. The only thing I would change would be the breakfast. I would add more hot food items such as bacon or sausage and scrambled eggs.
