Just Terrible

This place was awful! The room smelled musty and moldy and the bathroom smelled like sewer gases. The toilet lid would not stay up so I had to physically hold it up to use it. The beds were hard and the pillows harder.

This is a very beautiful setting with an amazing view of the bridge. The weather was not great for us, but there are plenty of things to do at the resort.

Very clean hotel in a quiet location. Close to the shopping district and the freeway/exits. While the room was small, the bed was comfortable, we felt safe, and having the fire pit lit every night for us was very nice. It was just my son and I, but we would stay here again.

Property had a great view of the Mackinac Bridge from our balcony. Room was clean and recently remodeled. Balcony was nice and had great views. Staff was courteous and friendly. Close to all the things in Mackinaw. Only disappointment was there was no loveseat or comfy chairs in the room to sit in. We did have a small dining table with 2 chairs, but would've been nice to have a relaxing place to sit besides on the bed. This wasn't a big deal though as we spent most of our time on the balcony. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay at the property again.

Our stay here was amazing. The view from our room of the Mackinaw Bridge and Lake Huron were incredible. Staff was wonderful. They were friendly, available, and helpful. Would highly recommend and definitely would stay again.

The view was excellent, the grounds and room were well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was your standard fair for hotels. There isn’t an elevator at this property, which is becoming more important as we get older. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff was friendly and helpful. I think the website description needs to emphasize that upstairs rooms are walkup with no elevators. Also the bedroom needs blackout curtains like the living room. To much light gets thru day and night. Night has the outside lights showing all night, daylight comes thru the blinds and with early light, it wakes you up.
