Breakfast was coffee and a packaged muffin, pretty bad. Bed was ok. Safety lock on door broke, air ran continuously and was loud. We were in room 222, need to cut the two trees down so have a much better view of lake. Was walkable to the ferry. Enjoyed watching the geese graze on the grass. Overall it was ok.

Decent stay, but hotel needs some updating We stayed here mainly just to sleep, since we were out most of the day visiting a nearby city and UP. The room was okay—clean enough and served its purpose—but the hotel could use a little updating. Some wallpaper was peeling off, and the balcony really needed power washing due to bird droppings. As for breakfast, it was disappointing. They only offer muffins and coffee, and instead of a full breakfast, they give you a coupon for a restaurant where you still need to pay around $20.99 per person. The staff were polite and check-in/check-out was smooth. Overall, it’s okay for a short stay, but don’t expect too much.

Everything is good around the Inn. You can walk everywhere, it’s just the room it can be updated or at least cleaned a little more. The bed was comfortable which was the best part. So if you are looking for just a bed then this is the place to be.

The staff was very nice, even though the original reviews said the hotel was recently updated we found the wallpaper falling off the walls, holes in the walls, and very limited outlets for charging. It was a bed to sleep in and clean.

Room is outdated and doesn't look like the pictures on the website. Not very well maintained. No place to store things. Fridge was too big for the storage cabinet so it was always tipping when the door was open. We stayed 3 nights and no one ever cleaned our room the entire time. I had to take out the trash and leave it in the hallway for them to pickup otherwise it would have been overflowing. I had to call for toilet paper and clean towels because again no one ever cleaned our room or brought up linens in 4 days. Staff was friendly when I called but I don't think I should have to call for toilet paper or have to empty my own trash when I'm on vacation. Only nice part about the location is close to the ferry. Views are lake front but there is not beach access, its the parking lot to the ferry. Wifi didn't work after logging in several time. No breakfast as advertised.

We had a view of the Lake and Mackinac Bridge. We were within walking distance of everything. The beds weren't too bad, you got plenty of pillows, and if you needed anything more you could get it. The staff was very friendly and very willing to help you.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. If I could give it ZERO stars I would. Blankets are thin, requested extra and none given. There is a broken window, the security lock on the door is broken, the mattresses are old, and extremely uncomfortable, the air conditioner doesn’t not work, only the fan. There is very poor lighting, no light attached to a light switch. The tv takes 5 mins to come on, there is no microwave in the room. The pool annd the hot tub anppear dirty, I would not go in. And the free breakfast is coffee and a prepackaged muffin. I am not hard to please, but this has been the worst!! This place needs to be shut down permanently .
