Reserved two rooms, and one needed to be a handicapped room, but did not receive it, even though it was needed. In our second room, the bedframe broke when we sat on the bed, the toilet was not secured to the floor and the smoke detector was not installed. Rooms were canceled without our knowledge for nights 2 & 3. Thankfully, the gal working the front desk did redo our reservations for nights 2&3, and did get a handicapped room we needed. The whole place needs some TLC (sheetrock issues in all bathrooms, carpets well worn). The place did seem good and clean. The continential breakfast was not good. Definitely will look for a different hotel next time.

The front desk was unoccupied when we arrived to check in. We attempted to contact all numbers listed on the sign, but no answer. The pictures posted were not accurate and the lobby furniture was dirty and stained. We waited for 15 minutes and no one came to assist. We felt unsafe and left.

We arrived later (11pm) and no one was working the front desk. So we used the phone to call the staff. Which a women emerged from a room down the hall wearing slippers, pjs and no bra. She acted annoyed that we were checking in. She handed me a paper to sign, handed me our key and said our room is upstairs. Then proceeded to walk back down the hall to her room. No ID taken or any true check in.

The beds were made and it smelled clean but there was pubic hair in the tub and on the sink. The floor in the bathroom was disgusting. Must have missed sweep day. Also when we got there to check in after driving 5 hours, no one was at the desk. I ran the bell and nothing. Then some lady came out of the pool area and picked up the counter phone and called the phone behind the desk and let it ring about 20 times. Finally some other lady opened a hotel room door, looked like she just crawled out of bed and asked if we needed something. I said could we check in? She looked very annoyed & said they don't normally let people check in this early. Mind you it was 3pm. And I said oh we just drove 5 hours. She huffed and asked my name, had me sign a paper, gave me 1 key and walked away. Will never stay there again. Thought it would be nice cause those kinds of hotels near our hometown are fabulous. Not this one, very dingy and unprofessional.

The bathroom was missing 1 of the 4 bulbs in the light fixture. The entryway light did not work either. The floor in the bathroom was dirty. The juice machine at breakfast was out of order, the sausage was burnt and food was gone 1/2 hour before the closing of the continental breakfast. The ice machine did not work. Nobody ever at the front desk Hotel needs a lot of work!

Staff was pleasant enough, smelled of marijuanna smoke on many occasions which I did not like at all, staff didn’t seem to look or act very professional……gal who checked me in was wearing leggings and a hoody. I had to walk down the hall and knock on a room door to get staff to check me in, looked as if I woke her up and I was around 6 pm. A bit run down but fairly clean. Just overall wasn’t as great as the rating that I had seen. Again staff was pleasant

When we checked in a 9:30pm, there were 4 guest registration cards and guest keys laying on the front desk. All those guests personal information was out for anyone to see and keys to their rooms just there for the taking. So many bad and very dangerous things could happen in that situation. We did happen to run into one staff member who was moving a gust from one room to another because their pull out sofa was inoperable. That employee said there is generally no one at the front desk after 9pm. That was not mentioned when our reservations were made. In addition to what I would call this security breach, when we got to our room, it felt so damp and humid. In fact, there was a large fan sitting on the table in the room blowing. Like they knew something was wrong, but didn’t finish fixing it, or if this was their fix, it wasn’t a good one. Of course there was no one at the front desk to discuss this with. Our bathroom had no shampoo in the shower in the bulk dispenser, but it did have a big metal grate over the back wall over the shower that was extremely rusty. When we got up in the morning, after an obviously not great night of sleep, there was no coffee in the airports at breakfast and trying to find the un-uniformed employee to fill the coffee was a problem. There were several guests just kind of wandering around with empty coffee cups trying to find someone who would make new coffee and fill the coffee dispenser. We finally gave up and left to get our own coffee.
