The tastefull and atmospheric 200 m2 house is located in our 2,300 m2 garden. It is surrounded by old oaks, pines, cornfields and grapevines. All eight rooms have open fireplaces. Each of the four bedrooms has either a bathtub, shower or washing cabinet. Baby beds are available upon request. The house is well away from tourist bustle, the sea is just twenty minutes away by car (18 km). A second, smaller house on the neighbouring property can also be rented.

Comfortable place for family vacation

We really enjoyed our vacation at Peter's Villa. A lot of space in the house, comfortable living rooms. Kitchen was perfectly equipped with all necessary items and tools. Good place for barbecue. Charming backyard with spacious table to have summer family breakfasts and dinners. A beautiful garden with bamboo, palms and other plants. So it is really a nice place to relax and to stay a week or two. Thank you!

Peter est un hôte très agréable et de très bon contact. La maison est un bien de caractère avec un grand jardin très agréable. Les chambres sont grandes, les pièces à vivre aussi. Il y a une superbe petite terrasse attenante à une des chambre qui est très belle. C'est un très bel endroit. Un petit bémol: la route qui passe à coté qui s'entend dans les chambres coté route, les sanitaires et les lits qui datent.

Ein perfektes Zuhause auf Zeit

Das Haus hat eine besondere Atmosphäre, die einen sofort begeistert: die geschmackvolle Einrichtung, die sensibel ausgesuchten Wandfarben und der wunderschönen Garten zu beiden Seiten. Wir waren als Großfamilie in drei Generationen zu Gast und sind uns niemals auf den Wecker gegangen - und das will was heissen. Der nächstgelegene Strand bei Messanges ist zwar nicht um die Ecke, aber mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen und selbst in der Hochsaison gibt es keine Parkprobleme und mehr als genug Platz am Strand. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, der Grillplatz ein Traum. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war absolut zuverlässig und sehr herzlich und ich bin immer noch begeistert über die Tatsache, dass Herr Remmel uns ein Päckchen hinterherschickt mit Kleinigkeiten, die wir bei dem frühmorgendlichen Aufbruch vergessen haben.

Schönes altes Haus mit gewissen Einschränkungen

Es handelt sich um ein schönes altes Haus, das durchaus liebenswürdig im alten Stil eingerichtet ist. Es gibt allerdings ein paar relevante Einschränkungen: - das Haus liegt an einer Landstraße, die wochentags zwischen 6 und 9 Uhr leider ein deutliches Verkehrsaufkommen verzeichnet; die beiden zur Straße liegenden Schlafzimmer sind daher auch bei geschlossenen Fenstern nicht vor dem Lärm der schnell vorbeifahrenden Fahrzeuge geschützt; - das Grundstück liegt zudem in einer Kurve: wenn der vom Vermieter umsichtig installierte Verkehrspiegel eine freie Fahrbahn zeigt, hat man hat laut Angaben des Vermieters genau 1,5 Sekunden, um sicher durch die enge Ausfahrt auf die Straße zu kommen – Nichts für schwache Nerven; - das Haus hat dünne Holzdecken und ist insbesondere vertikal sehr hellhörig. Leider hatten wir im Rahmen unseres Urlaubs mit ein paar weiteren Mängeln zu tun, die nichts mit Lage oder Bauweise des Hauses zu tun hatten, sondern mit der Instandhaltung der Ausstattung. Zudem entsprach die Einrichtung des zweiten Wohnzimmers nicht mehr dem Bild 6 im aktuellen Inserat: statt der gemütlich anmutenden blauen Rattan-Garnitur standen grobe Holzmöbeln im Raum, die (noch) keine Sitzkissen hatten – für uns daher nicht mehr als Wohnzimmer nutzbar. Der Vermieter hat uns später darüber aufgeklärt, dass die Kissen bestellt, aber noch nicht geliefert worden waren. Im Nachgang zur Reise hat sich der Vermieter dann zu einer Teilrückzahlung der Miete bereit erklärt.

Villa basquo- landaise

Très belle location que nous avons tous beaucoup appréciée. Cuisine fort bien équipée. Le cadre verdoyant permet de se détendre grandement . La maison a beaucoup de charme.
