Relax and enjoy this tastefully decorated one story, easily accessible cabin above Maggie Valley Country Club (golf available to the public)! Walk down the hill to Jonathan Creek (Mountain View Creek Park) at the neighborhood entrance where you can fish or enjoy a picnic along the water’s edge (grills, picnic tables, and parking are provided too). The property is at approximately 2900’ elevation with a paved access road (no 4-wheel drive necessary) and a brand new concrete driveway. Ole Hickory, an authentic cabin, is one story (only a couple of steps onto the porch for those needing easy access) and features all the modern conveniences including a gas fireplace and an indoor, two-person, jetted bathtub to soak away your worries after a long day of hiking, skiing, white water rafting, fishing, shopping, a round of golf at the country club, or just cruising along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The large, wrap-around deck and firepit area are perfect for taking in the winter views of the Smoky mountains and the award-winning golf resort below. The large, fenced-in yard is perfect for your small dog. Sleeping arrangements include a king bed in the owner's suite, a queen bed in the second bedroom, a queen sleeper sofa and a twin sleeper sofa in the living room. We also have Smart and Roku tvs with ESPN +, Netflix, Disney +, Hulu, etc. Ole Hickory is under brand new ownership, and the new owners are committed to providing guests with a clean and comfortable stay. Come and experience all that Western North Carolina has to offer in this year round, mountain paradise!

Great cabin in Maggie Valley. The cabin was very neat and clean with all of the items you need for the kitchen. The layout of the place is great with bedrooms and bathrooms on opposite ends of the house. The beds were very comfortable. We also liked the fenced-in area for the dog.

Had a relaxing visit to the Maggie Valley area and really enjoyed our stay at Ole Hickory. Clean, well appointed, and great place to relax after a day of sightseeing. It is a beautiful, well-kept property, stocked with all modern appliances and kitchen tools. The bathrooms had lots of supplies and an abundance of towels.My only challenge was the winding road to get there and the steep/narrow driveway. Not for the faint of heart like myself but thank God my brother in law was there and did all the driving. Kathy checked in on us during our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. Fantastic host and very comfortable canin

We spent 3 weeks in this lovely mountain cabin surrounded by woods. Definitely a quiet, restful time but very close to Maggie Valley Golf Course and nearby wonderful restaurants. Trout stream within a couple of minutes and water was low so we passed on fishing as conditions would have been too stressful on trout for catch and release. Incredible accommodating host!

This property was a great home base for a week long trout fishing trip. Great Maggie Valley retreat

Great property and floor plan. Very well decorated and up to date appliances. Close to downtown MV. Driveway and parking area requires a little preplanning and care until you get the routine down. We had two cars but only used one during our stay and parked the other out of the way.
