A cosy, romantic barn with shared outdoor heated swimming pool, and just a short stroll to the friendly pub in the lovely village of Hollingbourne.. All on the Ground Floor:

Bedroom: Kingsize (5ft) Bed, TV

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Garden with garden furniture, bench and charcoal barbecue. Swimming pool (shared with other properties on-site). Sorry, no hen or stag parties. Please note: There is open water in the property grounds. No smoking.. Heron Barn is a lovely romantic barn, perfect for couples and dog friendly too.

The barn dates back to 1761, when it would have been used to store hops from the estate. It has one bedroom and bathroom and a lovely sociable open plan living space, all with country views. A bottle of English wine awaits your arrival.

In the grounds is a shared outdoor heated swimming pool, open in the summer months, and also a shared table tennis table and pool table.

This property can be booked together with Kingfisher Oast (M555050) and Moorhen Cottage (M555100) to accommodate up to 14 guests.

A peaceful private location perfect for relaxing

We stayed in the barn at the end of the driveway. It has its own private patio and use of the grounds and pool. The barn itself was clean and well equipped with views across the countryside. The check-in was non-contact which is perfect for me as I'm clinically vulnerable. The welcome box was a nice touch. A perfect, peaceful place to relax while visiting family in the area.

Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings. Found a few cobwebs still in windows on arrival but some can be expected due to being isolated. Would have been nice to know in advance that the ‘house rules’ say you can’t leave your dog unattended before booking as it prevents meals out as a couple during your stay. The cottage was a great location in Kent, central for lots of places to visit. It was very comfortable and an extremely peaceful location. The welcome pack was a lovely bonus. The swimming pool was excellent and very private , loved the pool. Would definitely recommend to others as a little slice of heaven.
