We were down for the weekend for our son to visit some friends. It met our needs but the property could definitely do with some TLC.We had crumbs still left on the worktop in the kitchen, could shut the curtains fully in one of the bedrooms. The biggest pain which I understand isn’t the owners fault is the person living below. We got the impression it was an elderly man and it didn’t matter what time of day it was we had to keep walking gently when walking around the flat as he constantly use to bang the roof with some kind of stick moaning about the us walking around. It got to the point where you dent walk around past 9pm. Like I said I understand it’s not the hosts fault but it didn’t make our stay very enjoyable.
Stayed 2 nights in Aug 2025
