The Loire Valley castles are accessible in 1.5 hours,

For leisure activities, you can enjoy numerous activities: bike rides along the Eure, hikes in the surrounding countryside, discovering local markets, or even swimming and water sports in the surrounding area. Chartres also offers a rich cultural and festive program, including its famous "Chartres en Lumières" show, which illuminates the city every evening from April to October.
