Extremely disappointing stay – unsafe, noisy, and poorly managed.I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable from start to finish. We received no check-in instructions despite being told we would, and repeated attempts to contact the host went unanswered. We were left waiting outside for over 3 hours and only gained access at 7pm (check-in was 3pm), after being told to collect keys from a location 20 minutes away.The apartment is directly above two nightclubs, with extremely loud music until around 6am every night. The bass was so intense the beds physically shook, making sleep impossible. This alone makes the property unsuitable for guests.There was also no consistent hot water—only one quick shower before it turned cold. Over a 4-night stay, this meant severely limited use.Multiple safety issues were present: unsecured headboards falling down, a faulty moka pot spraying boiling water, broken knives, unstable chairs, and disintegrating bar stools. Hygiene was also poor, with a strong sewage smell, stained furniture, dust, & worn fittings. Basic amenities were missing or unusable.Despite raising these issues with both the host and VRBO, support was minimal. We were refused relocatation and advised to book alternative accommodation at our own expense. After hours on the phone, only 100 compensation was offered by VRBO, which is wholly inadequate.Overall, this property is not safe or fit for purpose. I strongly advise against staying here.
