Hotel Vega was such a beautiful and welcoming place to stay. The staff instantly won our hearts. You can tell everyone loved Hotel Vega, if they were an employee or guest. The views at breakfast couldn't get any better. We would gladly stay here again on our next vacation to Lake Garda.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Marco. Location is nearby ferry to Riva, Limone, and rest of Garda. Parking was worth the few extra Euros, most everything you need is within walking distance, so we parked in their secure location and forgot about our vehicle for a few days. We were right on the water and could hear the waves - very relaxing.

Fabulous hotel with friendly, helpful staff. We stayed in a junior suite overlooking the lake which was wonderful. Dining area also overlooks the lake and breakfast was great with lots of choice. Hotel is a stone’s throw away from the shops, restaurants and ferries. Can highly recommend Malcesine and Hotel Vega!

Hotel Vega is a Perfect place to spend a few days in Lake Garda. Good, friendly and helpful service. The town is busy but accessible. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from, even for GF options.

I recently stayed at the property with my partner for three nights and we had an excellent time. The hotel is in a fantastic location and it is kept in pristine condition. The view from breakfast is certainly something that should be experienced. The parking next to the property is also a real bonus based on how difficult it can be to park in Malcesine. The owner, Marco, is a very proud and hospitable man who made us feel very welcome. I hope to return soon :-)

Everything about this hotel is perfect. The location is five minutes walk into the centre of the beautiful town of Malcesine. The hotel is ridiculously clean with a beautiful setting onto the lake. The staff are very polite, efficient and helpful. The breakfast is excellent. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. If you go to Malcesine then stay at this hotel.

I stayed for 5 nights at Hotel Vega and enjoyed each one. The staff is wonderful, the bed was the most comfortable one I had during my travels in Italy. Hotel is right on the water, very quick walk to town centre/shops/restaurants, ferries, and waterfront boardwalk. They had a great breakfast each morning which was a nice start to the day. I loved sitting on the waterfront deck and going swimming. Oh and the hotel is spotless clean, which is really important to me! I booked the waterfront junior suite, it was worth it.

Loved this hotel! Great location, on the lake and steps from restaurants, shopping and a gelateria! The adjacent parking lot for €10/night was great. It was close-by and secure. Splurged on a room with a balcony and highly recommend that. But, there are also plenty of common areas with lake views. Buffet breakfast was terrific with lots of options, including eggs cooked to order. Staff all very solicitous and spoke English well.

My husband and I had a fantastic time staying at Hotel Vega, we felt very welcome and looked after. The hotel is located very close to the main town so it’s an easy walk to get just about everywhere. We opted for the junior suite, and the room was plenty spacious and the view absolutely breathtaking, amenities were in good condition and housekeeping came daily. The morning breakfast was delicious, served from 7-10am and fresh coffee and eggs always served. Unlike most buffet style breakfast, fresh food is brought out little and often, so if you prefer to eat a little later you know you’re not eating food that’s been out for an hour or two. We will very much love to return.

Wir war als PĂ€rchen fĂŒr ein Nacht lang da. Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Schade war, dass die Platzwahl bei FrĂŒhstĂŒck vorher festgelegt wurde (ist aber auch verstĂ€ndlich) und das der Pool leider nicht beheizt war (wir waren im Oktober dort). Wir sind eigentlich nur wegen dem Pool in dieses Hotel gegangen. Die Aussicht beim FrĂŒhstĂŒck ist zwar sehr schön, bekommt man jedoch gĂŒnstiger und vielleicht sogar schöner, wenn man einfach 300 Meter weiter auswĂ€rts frĂŒhstĂŒckt. Insgesamt aber ein angenehmes Hotel.

Vi Ă€r extremt nöjda med vĂ„r vistelse pĂ„ Hotell Vega i Malcesine. Redan vid ankomsten möttes vi av en underbar atmosfĂ€r och ett fantastiskt bemötande. Personalen var otroligt trevlig, personlig och hjĂ€lpsam under hela vĂ„r vistelse. VĂ„rt rum övertrĂ€ffade förvĂ€ntningarna – bĂ„de balkong och egen terrass med en helt magisk utsikt över Gardasjön. Det Ă€r svĂ„rt att tĂ€nka sig ett bĂ€ttre lĂ€ge, mitt i hjĂ€rtat av Malcesine och med allt inom rĂ€ckhĂ„ll. Vi uppskattade ocksĂ„ de prisvĂ€rda drinkarna och ölen som kunde avnjutas i en avslappnad miljö. Kombinationen av lĂ€get, servicen och den unika utsikten gör detta hotell till nĂ„got alldeles extra. Zuerst einmal hervorzuheben war die Sauberkeit des Hotels und die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Die Auswahl am FrĂŒhstĂŒcksbuffet war ausgewĂ€hlt aber absolut ausreichend. Eiergerichte und Kaffee wurden extra zubereitet. Die Lage direkt am See und in Innenstadt NĂ€he ist auch ein Traum. Lediglich die Anreise am Samstag (Markttag) war dadurch etwas herausfordernd. Was uns leider nicht so gut gefallen hat, war die Parksituation, es gab 4 ParkplĂ€tze direkt am Haus auf die wir nicht hingewiesen wurden (diese waren abwechselnd besetzt teilweise auch frei). Der Parkplatz der zum Hotel direkt gehört ist ca. 10 Minuten Fußweg entfernt und kostet 10 Euro pro Tag. Was uns aber wirklich sehr gestört hatte war die Tatsache, dass die FrĂŒhstĂŒckstische direkt am Fenster reserviert wurden. Dadurch hatte man selbst nicht einmal die Chance direkt am Fenster zu sitzen andere jedoch den ganzen Aufenthalt ĂŒber. Teilweise waren die Tische somit den halben Morgen reserviert und ungenutzt, dass fanden wir nicht fair gegenĂŒber uns und den anderen GĂ€sten. Es sollte noch einmal ĂŒberdacht werden ob man hier zwei Klassen im FrĂŒhstĂŒcksraum schafft. Wir haben uns trotzdem sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt und können das Hotel weiterempfehlen.
