The room was very clean and had a good supply of sheets and bedding. There were sufficient pots, pans, dishes, etc. The highlight and what stood out the most to us was Maria and her family. They were so accommodating, helpful, friendly and welcoming. They made our stay so great! From fresh oranges, to daily chats, to a willingness to make sure we were happy with anything, If we needed anything, all we had to do was ask. The building is close to a supermarket, produce market, bakery and butcher - all within walking distance. Same with bus stops to get to Heraklion downtown. Loved it there and loved Maria and her family!
