For safety reasons, we kindly ask that guests do not enter any sheds or workshops.
Guests are welcome to feed the goats fresh willow branches from along the creek—they’ll love the treat!
Interaction With Guests:
Jen is available via call or text and will be your main point of contact during your stay. While our on-site caretaker helps care for the animals and maintain the grounds, he is not involved in the rental side of things. For any questions or concerns, please reach out to Jen directly.
Other Details to Note:
We kindly ask that you take care of one another during your stay—especially by keeping a close eye on young children near the creek and ponds.
You’ll also meet our three ranch dogs. They’re working dogs, here to protect our animals from predators and keep an eye on things and they take their job seriously! Because they can sometimes be vocal at night, we’ve provided sound machines in each bedroom to ensure a restful night’s sleep.
Daisy is a smart and energetic Border Collie, Pody is a loyal Heeler mix, and Dutch—a gentle giant—is our Anatolian Shepherd. Don’t be surprised if they bark when you arrive or leave; they’re just doing their job as guardians of the ranch. Due to the presence of our ranch dogs, we’re not able to accommodate guest's pets at this time. That said, our dogs are friendly and will enjoy spending time with you.
We have four goats, each with their own personality. Toffee, Icy, and Nea are Nigerian Dwarf goats—small, spirited, and full of charm. Finny, by contrast, appears to be mostly Nubian: taller, leaner, and unmistakably elegant.
Toffee and Finny are the friendliest of the bunch. They’ll often wander over, especially if you’re offering fresh willow branches from the creek—a favorite snack. They love to be scratched behind the ears and petted. Icy and her baby, Nea, are a bit more aloof and certainly more particular. They’ve developed a dramatic flair, and bleat at our caretaker in hopes of scoring their beloved grain treats.
