This quaint cottage is in easy walking distance of Malton's wonderful town centre and is well placed for exploring the surrounding countryside such as the Howardian Hills AONB and the North York Moors National Park.
1 School Lane is full of character and charm but also has all the modern facilities to guarantee a comfortable stay; a well equipped kitchen, cosy sitting room featuring a wood burning stove and stunning dining room all on the ground floor. Stairs from the dining room lead to the first floor were you can relax in one of the two bedrooms, a master bedroom with 6' super-king size zip and link bed and further second bedroom with a wonderful home from home feel. Both bedrooms are accompanied by a very spacious and decadent family bathroom with freestanding roll-top bath, just perfect for the end of the day after time well spent exploring North Yorkshire.
Spend time in the rear patio area outside with close friends or family enjoying the evening sun around the garden table and chairs seating four guests or wander along to one of the many eateries that Malton has to offer. Known as 'The food capital of the North' Malton offers plenty of pubs and restaurants for every taste, whilst also having wonderful independent shops and places of interest to keep you busy. 1 School Lane is the perfect base for visiting York, the coastline of Yorkshire and many of it's historic estates such as Castle Howard and Scampston Hall.
