Positioned on a south-facing corner away from pool and street activity, this privately managed home offers rare calm, warm natural light, and sweeping views of Mammoth Mountain, Lincoln Mountain’s ski runs, and the Sherwin Range.

Step onto your private balcony to soak in afternoon sun and mountain air—the perfect place to unwind after a day outside. While the Village’s restaurants, events, gondola, and nightlife are just steps away, the condo itself feels peaceful and tucked away, offering the best of both energy and escape.

Inside, the space is thoughtfully designed and recently refreshed. Expansive windows frame the views, while a propane fireplace anchors the living area with cozy seating and a relaxed mountain feel. The king bedroom features a custom metal headboard and plush linens, and the living room includes a queen sleeper sofa for flexible sleeping arrangements.

The kitchen is well equipped for easy meals, featuring granite counters, an upgraded refrigerator with a true freezer, dishwasher, microwave, two-burner cooktop, and small appliances for comfortable longer stays. The oversized bathroom includes a tub/shower combination, quality toweling, and custom toiletries.

Being a privately managed condo within the hotel, we were second class in that we were not entitled to any hotel amenities we were interested in. I was ok with the 4pm check-in time because I planned to ski until then. However I wasn’t permitted to use the hotel’s Bell Service as a “non-guest”. What do I do with all my stuff? I asked and host didn’t have an option. No room service either as a “non-guest”. Didn’t think to try food delivery, that might solve this. No uber rides in Mammoth but could be different for food delivery. Room was fine. No bedding provided for the sofa bed. Weston is a 2..75 (not quite a 3 star) hotel. Needs more elevators. Long line to get to gondola to go up to the ski area and to get back down at the end of the day. Can’t ski down to the hotel, have to take gondola each way.

Overall, the condo was nice. I do recommend replacing the couch as rhe cushions show a good deal of wear. Also, the pillows weren't comfortable and it would have been nice to have had others.

WONDERFUL STAY! Everything was perfect! We stay at many VRBO’s, hotels and resorts and this was one of our favorite experiences. All the little touches were thought of, and the check-in/out instructions and information were exceptional. We had a fantastic stay! I am thoroughly impressed with this rental-- we had great communications with the owner, the rental was in beautiful and clean condition, the location was perfect and I can't tell you how much I appreciated the "beach" wagon that was provided in the unit so that we could make one trip to the car and get all of our belongings at once. That was the cherry on top! Highly recommend for singles or couples.

Great Location & Phenomenal View

Great location. Quick walk to the village across the street. Phenomenal views no matter where you are in the condo. I really enjoyed sitting with a cup of coffee, from the Nespresso machine, and watching the Sun move across the mountains each morning.

Great Spring Break Trip!

We had an excellent stay over Spring Break with the kids. The unit was exactly as described and the pics were spot on. The King bed was firm (just my style!), and the pull out sofa bed was perfect for the kids. We cooked dinner in the kitchen for 4 nights, and had mostly everything we needed. We could have used a spaghetti strainer, but made it work. The dishwasher worked better than ours at home (lol), but was a tad loud. The heat and gas fireplace worked perfectly, and the hot water in the bathroom and kitchen was instant. The access to the Gondola for skiing was super convenient, and the hotel was helpful if we had any questions. Overall, a great stay, and we would stay again for sure!.

Amazing Stay

Our stay at the Monache 1 Bedroom was an amazing stay. Communication was excellent with fast responses. The check in process was simple. The place is very clean and very comfortable including the bed. The view was amazing from the windows and balcony. They added simple touches that have been lost by most owners.....Super clear directions and simple check in, a small welcome gift, delicious Nespresso Coffee with pods, kitchen had all amenities, and the place was warm when we checked in.Walking distance to village and village gondola, delicious Starbucks drip coffee in the lobby and a great bar and food in the lobby as well.Thank you,Ray
