We had a great time staying here in June 2022 for 12 days. The hotel is right on the sea with fantastic views everywhere. We booked a a terrace room, but thanks to the manager, we were upgraded to a more spacious family room which is also cooler and more conveniently located. The hotel has a great selection of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Staff is friendly and helpful. Guests are from all over the world, with Germans being the largest group. Some keep coming here regularly for many years. It's not a top-end luxury property, but a solid choice for people looking for balance between budget and comfort. Our special thanks to Altan, the property manager, and Sait, who organized several transfers for our group - your hospitality really made a difference!

Great hotel. Which was fab in its hay days. Could be upgraded in the bedrooms. Good and entertainment was good. Staff friendly and helpful. A good location to see the Roman ruins at Side.

This is not a 5 star property on the same level as, say a 5 star property in the UK or other countries. The first room we were given had a broken lock on the door (which was promptly fixed); and the second room offered the next day was better, but still suffered from insects which required to be fumigated! Neither of these family rooms had a partial sea view as described. Whilst the second room had better views, we were subjected to extremely loud music blaring from the sister hotel next door until 11.30pm every night, which is not ideal with 2 young children. Two members of our family suffered from food poisoning during our stay, as did other guests who we also saw being carted off to hospital. This ruined our whole experience and so I would not recommend this hotel.

The staff was very friendly but most of them didn’t know a word of English so you end up doing sign language, overall had good 6 nights at the hotel I wasn’t very fond of the breakfast it was egg egg egg and egg, but rest of the dinner snacks and evening meal was very good,I would go back there again and will recommend to others too

Lots of stairs and steps.

Last year we stayed at the sister hotel (Sunset) next door. We were expecting an identical experience except this hotel was right in the beach. The rooms were still to the same standard, but with water slides were no where near as exciting for our teenagers. Also, the Sunset has a large pool with the 16+ pool nestled in the middle and has all the restaurants, spa, shops situated around the pool. The sunrise has the eateries and bars etc spread out over 5 floors. It was a long walk from the family pool to the lunchtime restaurant. There are lots of stairs and steps and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for the elderly or people with parks. We enjoyed it, but I’d prefer to return to the Sunset if I was going back to the same area

Good hotel, clean , beautiful beach and pool. A pool for adults only is an amazing idea. Lots of food. The staff is extremly nice. But the the wifi is terrible , the elevators are small panoramic from glass with no fan or air condition . If it stuck you may suffocate! And the staff use big noisy carts to move food and other things between the floors , i used to woke up early(6:30 am) on that terrible noise by my room (terrace room 6408) as if a tank passing, and after lunch too and mid night. Very noisy. This is the main only reason that i will not recomend or re-visit myself

Nice hotel but rooms need updating.

Upon check in we were given twin beds instead of double (despite our request when booking) but staff were quick to resolve this which was nice. Unfortunately however the new room had a dirty toilet (despite having a disinfected sign on it)! Again, housekeeping were quick to clean this and topped up our empty mini bar). The Cupboard was broken and fell when trying to slide the doors, but maintenance fixed this the next morning. As February is winter there, there is no way to cool the rooms as the AC is set on heat only throughout the hotel. It was 18oC so was very hot at night so you have to sleep with balcony door open to cool down. Despite the quick fixes, this did ruin our first evening at Crystal Sunrise as the reception staff was rude instead of apologetic when I listed the issues experienced so far. A third room was offered but the view wasn’t nice and heat issues remained so we stayed put in room 2. Food times are convenient, however there needs to be a bit more variety as a lot of the same dishes are served daily. The catering/hospitality staff are very pleasant and friendly. It was an ok hotel but I don’t think I’d return as it didn’t feel like a 5 star hotel experience.

An all-inclusive treat

Our room was no 1124 and faced away from the beach over the gardens with a large balcony (sun in the morning). It had a single and a double bed, a large walk in shower, free mini bar, TV, Wifi and the only downside - noisy air conditioning that did not cool the room very well. The complex itself is huge, but very clean and modern with a number of bars and restaurants, pools and it's private beach area. Towels were provided and the plentiful loungers & parasols were comfortable. The food and drinks were pretty much available 24 hours and were excellent in choice, taste and variety. We had been staying locally for the week in a all-inclusive complex, but it was not to our taste, so this was an extra night as a treat and we arrived at 2pm and left the following day at 6pm after being invited to stay for lunch on departure at 12pm. This was certainly a treat and we made full use of the facilities and all-inclusive on offer. Also, We mentioned that we had stayed at a Crystal Hotel before and we had a welcome back card and plateful of fresh fruit in our room when we came back in the afternoon from the beach. The staff are all friendly, but other than the reception and a couple of the bar staff, the English is not very good. The majority of guests were German and East European, with a few British and Swedish couples, not too many children either. Would definitely recommend.

Great Hotel ... Just what we were looking for

We stayed at the Crystal Sunrise Queen from 03May to 17May ...and from the the moment we checked in, to the time we checked out.we had the best time ever.This hotel had everything that we wanted...it was spotlessly clean throughout,staff friendly and efficient and could not do enough for you....we loved the food,which was plentiful and varied and very fresh,the dining areas inside and out were comfortable and seating outside to eat whilst enjoying the amazing sea views and the wonderful sunsets in the fresh air was an absolute joy.The hotel offered every facility needed to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.The evening entertainment was also more than we expected... very enjoyable.On top of all this...a wonderful sandy beach and a pedestrian walking path which went on for miles.All in all we had a wonderful holiday at Crystal Sunrise and were sorry to leave...but we are looking forward to returning very soon.

Great break in Antalya - Side Beach

We have loved our holiday to Turkey and will be visiting again.... A great country and wonderfully warm and lovely people !!!!! Good location and a very quiet area. This is a wonderful family hotel. Very friendly staff and an impressive selection of food during meal times. Use the a la carte restaurant is limited to once per stay. Excellent private beach area kept clean and managed well. Superb view of the sea and shoreline. Attention needs to be given to the quality of toiletries and towels which are a let down. Overall, we would visit this hotel again.

Lovely hotel plus well kept beach area

Clean hotel with plenty of staff who were in the main friendly and always helpful. Food was ok but lacked variety, we only stayed 7 days and couldn't have faced another 7 with the choice on offer. Entertainment was very basic but we were staying out of the busy summer season. Very geared towards their large clientele of German holidaymakers. Overall we enjoyed our time at the Crystal Sunrise Queen.
