Our first night there, the hotel staff prepared a pot roast and mashed potato dinner which was included in our stay. Very delicious. There was a lot of noise in the middle of the night either above or next to our room. Sounded like people throwing things against the walls or floor. Lasted for more than 10 minutes.

Our bathroom had hair all over the floors, dirty bathtub with mold, the chair in our room had a massive what appeared to be urine stain, the floor above even with mild movement awoke us at 530am, the bedspreads smelt of mildew and were clearly reused for multiple guests, pillows are the size of a throw pillow……..for $156 per night I would have rather rented a Tahoe and slept in it.

The guy at front desk was obnoxious & rude. The 1st room I got was not even made or cleaned. Sheets laying on floor, dirty towels, totally uncalled for, why would you even try and have someone stay in an unprepared room?? When I went to front desk the obnoxious rude desk clerk asked what was the problem, I explained the situation and he asked what do you want me to do about it. The second room was made but the odor was unbearable. When I asked him about it he said again what do you want me to do about it, not my problem. No offer of another room or any compensation !! I've stayed here before and it was nice clean and quiet. Also the beds were like sleeping on concrete blocks. No elevator, had to pack my suitcase up stairs then back fown after moving me to a different room. I will NEVER stay here again if I have to pay for rudeness!!

So disappointed! I do not recommend! We looked forward to a nice quiet weekend but it was ruined by the brick hard bed in our room at Wamego Inn and Suites When we checked in, our king suite had been given to someone else. We were given a queen room. After some time, the front clerk called the supervisor and put us in room that was a king suite. Do not reserve here unless you like sleeping on a concrete slab! We were unaware of the bed condition until we finally got in it after 11pm. We did not sleep and woke up with a terrible neck ache and body aches. Further, we were exhausted for the rest of our activities that day. Weekend ruined. We asked the front desk if there was a room with a better bed and got "no, all the beds are the same" very dismissively. We went to the room and packed our things refusing to be tortured one more night. We again asked for a different room and were refused. Another employee standing nearby commented "yeah! some of the beds are really bad!" Further, they have absolutely refused to refund our second night stay though it was the Condition of the room that made us leave. Expedia contacted the property and they refused to refund our night. We should get both nights refunded. Do not stay at Wamego Inn and Suites unless you are into excruciatingly hard beds and poor customer service

The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly. They had a great breakfast with many options. My only complaint was that we lost power in our room twice in one morning, I'm not sure if it was the entire property because it was incredibly windy that day so it may not have been an issue with the property itself at all but I felt it was worth mentioning.
