The employees at this hotel are fantastic. The men working at the front door are always very kind and professional. Security does an amazing job. Warm and welcoming always. The housekeeping are also amazing. Never any problems at all.

The hotel is generally fine but just don't leave anything in your room when you check out. If you do, don't bother calling to have them check if it's there because they'll send housekeeping and whatever you left is gone. If you still can, just go back and just be escorted to check yourself. Not the first time this happened to me in The Philippines because housekeeping will keep whatever you left.

Amazing hotel with such lovely staff. Highly recommended rooms lovely, pool nice to have but most of all the super friendly staff from doormen to the front desk who were so helpful and polite. Best hotel going to make it my regular now.

Refrigerator and air conditioner noise level is quite high. Hot water didn’t last long enough. Time it took to pay the bill for drinks in lobby care and poolside restaurant was much too long. Location is very good and staff were very polite.

The hotel was in an area close to many restaurants and bars. A 7-11 is located close by also. Rooms come with 2 bottles of water and soda/water you can pay for in the fridge. Sheets were a but dirty in my room with stains. The tv had all fuzzy channels. The restaurants inside were decent. The gym had a decent amount of equipment.

I had a pleasant stay at 1898. The location is great for experiencing the local nightlife, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The breakfast was decent, though I wish there were more traditional Filipino options. The egg station stood out as the best part of the morning meal. My room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The 24/7 security gave an added sense of safety, which I appreciated. Overall, a solid stay in a lively area.
