For a claimed 5 star hotel, it does not meet the expectation. Itnn no is veryjj no outdated and seems like no effort to improve it. Musty smell permeates the room. Positive aspects, great location and wonderful staff

There was an unpleasant smell coming from the toilet. Also, I ordered eggs from the egg station and did not come to our table. They should also put table numbers so customers don’t go back to the table and ask a staff for the number to make the egg order.

I have concerns about Senior Discount. When I requested to extend additional day , check out at 5am it was promised that I will get a senior discount. It is not that I really need this discount , it would be nice to have clarification that this Senior Discount is only for locals considering your hotel is international hotel. When I showed my Canadian ID with no clear explanation I was told my ID is not valid . Staff in the help desk are not very friendly and not clear to customers expectations. Housekeeping are excellent. Food are excelkent , little bit slow in service for a five star hotel

This was my third stay at this location in a year. The Executive Club King room is always luxurious great amenities like a pillow menu, the pantry breakfast is like visiting Epcot. Food from around the world always tasty and a great variety. Special details like the omlette bar, pastry station, and foods rom around Asia. The star though is the nightly cocktail hour at the Executive club lounge with high end cocktails, gourmet appetizer and an incredible view from the roof top bar. We always enjoy their spotless pool and their well appointed gym. Take advantage of the discount for hotel guests and visit the best spa in Manila Devarana Spa for massage treatments that are relaxing. The location of the hotel in the heart of Makati across the street from SM Mall makes dining out and shopping convienent. Finally the staff is always helpful, and caring. Can't recommend this hotel enough.

Overall I had a great stay. However, the room i was given had definitely seen better days. The room was adequately sized with a comfortable clean bed but the carpet, though it may be clean, was visibly stained and probably needs to be replaced. I did reach out to the housekeeping team regarding the wet rag smell of the room and they came and sprayed the room for me. Overall the stay was great. The staff, especially the front and concierge service, were fantastic. However, i dont think it lives up to its 5 star hotel status.
