The room was great, food was good, hotel is beautiful and in a great location. Down sides - The bathroom sink only had (VERY) HOT water. No cold! We got to the breakfast buffet at 9 (1 hour before it closed) and there were MANY empty stations. Most everything that was supposed to be hot was cold including the coffee. We were quite disappointed in the breakfast buffet, especially for the high price!

Very nice hotel! We were a bit shocked once we walked into it! We arrived about an hour before check-in and were able to get our room which was nice. Room was a nice size. Bathroom was a little small but fine. Hotel location was great. Right near metro line and malls. Lots of restaurants around too. Nice and clean/safe area.

I am sorry to have negative feedback. I feel the reception was not professional. When I checked in, she always called to someone. All the staff from front desk, restaurant, housekeeping, security were all so nice snd hospitable. I loved my room, it was spacious and clean. You can cross the street from this hotel and there is an SM which offers shopping and food. They provide a pitcher of filtered water. The Christmas ambiance was festive with an auto piano playing Christmas songs. The included bfast buffet was delicious with champorado, various kakanin, egg station, Indian food selection, and many more. The pool area was nice. A very good value for a hotel in the Makati area.

I would say my stay was good, not great, as the heading shows here. If it were great I would have given 5 stars. I have stayed at Dusit Thani Manila more than 10x, just as a reference. The main thing that stood out this stay was the food and assistance from a couple employees. Upon check-in, the front desk agent, I think Emmanuel, informed me that my room was not quite ready as the housekeeping was double-checking towels. That made no sense to me as it was after 4PM already. I explained that my flight from Iloilo was delayed, then upon arriving at baggage claim in Manila, there was a problem and bags were delayed around 45 minutes. Emmanuel checked with someone in back of the desk and then indicated I would be upgraded and the room was ready. Salamat to Emmanuel and whoever he spoke with. That evening I went to the main restaurant. The hostess (Trisha?) was very sweet and talked with me some as she sat me at the table. I already knew what I was ordering, but no server acknowledged my presence. The GM, Jun, noticed & helped. I have ordered a pizza a certain way often there and I spoke with the pizza/pasta chef. I did not ask her name but she remembered my face and how I like the pizza cooked. Jun even brought it over. It was very good. I am sorry for rambling but it is early in the morning and it would have taken more time to edit this. lol Overall, I plan on returning to Dusit again.
