Designed by architect John Bloodgood Schuster this midcentury-modern home is an architectural gem filled with original details. Situated on the Manitowoc River enjoy riverfront views from the great room by the double-sided fireplace. Thoughtfully designed and restored with comfort and design in mind.
The space
Built in 1960 by John Bloodgood Schuster, a student of the acclaimed architect, Frank Lloyd Wright this property boosts original details alongside modern amenities. Beautiful original wood paneling is found throughout the house.

For your safety and ours, there is a security camera located on the front porch. It monitors the entrance to the property and the driveway. There is one additional camera facing the back patio and cliff.

Their was an issue with the bathroom sink in one of the bedrooms. My Daughter ended up having to use our bathroom because there was a leak under the sink and water was all over the floor. Additionally, the water was leaking from that bathroom through the ceiling to the bedroom below. To be fair, the host mentioned in a message that there was a problem with the sink the afternoon that we were going to check in. We decided to go ahead and keep the reservation because we were exhausted from driving and didn't want to deal with finding another lodging option. Looking back we should have just cancelled because the problem was much worse than the host conveyed to us. One bedroom and bathroom was completely inaccessible and we were not offered a discount or other remedy for our trouble. The host did leave a Panera gift card for us but I should have insisted on a discount on our nightly rate considering we booked the residence with the full intention of having access to the entire listing and we did not.
