Lure Camp is a rare gem—equal parts serenity, hospitality, and thoughtful design. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a restorative lakeside retreat.Having lived for a decade on a pristine northern Minnesota lake, we didn’t expect to find a setting that could rival those memories. But Lure Camp did—and in many ways, exceeded them. The waters here are deep, clear, and soul-stilling, with eagles soaring overhead as if choreographed by grace itself. It’s not just beautiful—it’s sacred.The interior of the home is immaculate and beautifully appointed. Every detail reflects care and intention, from the spotless surfaces to the cozy, curated furnishings that invite both rest and conversation. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel at home, yet quietly elevated.And then there’s Carlie, the host—a delight to communicate with. Her warmth and responsiveness made every interaction easy and affirming. But what truly sets Lure Camp apart is Carlie’s extraordinary thoughtfulness: throughout the home, she’s placed gentle coaching tips and encouragements that invite guests to engage, reflect, and savor. These aren’t just decorative—they’re transformational, nudging you toward joy, presence, and connection.We’ve already marked our calendar for a return in late spring—if the home is available, we’ll be back without hesitation.
