Nearly every room offers sweeping, unobstructed 180-degree vistas through floor-to-ceiling windows that bring the lake, sky, and surrounding forest right inside. The Space
Glen Light Cabin is designed to take advantage of the sweeping ridge-top views across Big Glen Lake, with the main living spaces oriented toward the lake.

House with a view.

The was house was fabulous! The kitchen was wonderful, lots of glasses, silverware, and great pots and pans. The loft made it easy for young adults to go and watch tv. The weather was a little disappointing because of the smoke and haze from Canada. We did have the first two days of beautiful blue views.

Extraordinary

Trust the reviews. The view is breathtaking. Really, it's multiple views, because the vista looks different depending on the weather and time of day. The house feels new and is super comfortable. The deck is big, with plenty of chairs. The kitchen is big and fully stocked. The loft is the perfect getaway for a nap, watching a movie or doing a bit of work (we appreciated the small desk). Wifi is good. The dirt road through the woods is quiet and good for walking. Because of the road and the steep hill, the house is not well situated for biking in and out. Glen Arbor village is about a 10-minute drive (will be closer when the Crystal View bridge gets repaired).

Stunning vacation home! Gorgeous area to visit!

This is an incredible property, absolutely gorgeous. The view of the Glen Lakes and Lake Michigan are so beautiful and serene. Spending evenings on the deck in the high deck chairs enjoying the sunset after cooking out on the grill was such a pleasure. The house itself was so incredibly clean and well decorated. The furniture was over the top comfortable. Husband enjoyed Watch TV in the loft in the late afternoon. The designer kitchen with its gorgeous huge island, five burner gas stove and cabinet microwave was amazing. Kim provided everything from you could possibly need and more. Comfortable beds and bedding plus perfect quiet made for a great nights sleep. Kim provided wonderful suggestions for activities and we did most. We really loved biking the Heritage trail twice! The hikes to Empire Bluff and Alligator Hill were great. Our favorite day was traveling up to the lighthouse in Northport stopping at the beautiful Good Harbor beach on the way and finishing the day with whitefish in Leland. We have been recently traveling to Petoskey area, but really loved Glen Arbor, it has a real up north feeling. Also, if you are a mountain biker there is a trail right down the road! I can’t say enough about the beauty of the home as well as the area, loved it! Kim was a great host and very responsive, thanks for everything.

The View!

This is a secluded spot perfect for unwinding, gazing at the stars at night and a gorgeous view of the sparkling waters on Glen Lake during the day. Spectacular sunsets at twilight. The house is impeccably clean. Really enjoyed the retreat.

A northern paradise

I booked this home for a long weekend stay with family and when everyone walked up to the main level and saw the views, they were wowed. They hadn’t seen photos beforehand, but even if they had, it wouldn’t do it justice. Everything from appliances to furniture and linens were clean, high quality and comfortable. This is the nicest, most well-stocked VRBO we’ve been in and we’ve been to more than a few. Thank you, Kim! We hope to be back!

WOW---Breathtaking Beauty

This is one incredible property. The pictures are 100% accurate. The cabin is amazing. The views on the deck overlooking Glenn Lake and the dunes are second to none. The cabin is so well equipped and has everything you need. The furniture is so comfortable and set up perfectly. This is a super clean unbelievable getaway. Kim is an in incredible host that provides everything you need. The cabin is on a fantastic location that gives you seclusion while only less than 10 minutes from Glen Arbor. I can't wait to try and come up for the fall colors. It is hard to leave the cabin when your arrive. The outdoor grill and kitchen are perfect for eating dinner on the deck watching the sunsets. 5+++ Stars Thanks Kim for a memorable stay! We will be back.

Fantastic Views and Accommodations at Glen Arbor and Glen Lake

We had a fantastic time at this VRBO cabin - it felt like a lodge rather than a cabin - beautiful facility and magnificent views of Glen Lake, Sleeping Bear Point and Lake Michigan. We have been going to the Traverse City and Leelanau Peninsula off and on for about two decades and this was by far the best place that we stayed. For the things we wanted to do (nature, dune climb, golf, exploring the coasts, wineries and breweries) this was near it all (within 15-20 minute drives) - cant' say enough good things about this cabin and also the owners and their helpfulness...hope to be back again someday but for August 2023 we will be heading to another VRBO in the Great Smokey Mountains area with our kids and grandkids (a group of 10 of us).

Short and simple, it has a great location near Glen Arbor, a lot to do around the area with beaches, dunes, kayaking, etc.... The house has a spacious kitchen, dining room table, and is super convenient to cook from. Took family and kids and the place was perfect for them.

Fabulous stay!

We had a fabulous stay at this cabin in Maple City! The cabin was in amazing shape and the views from the deck were gorgeous. The cabin was beyond comfortable and the owners went above and beyond (laundry detergent, extra garbage bags, toiletries in case they were forgotten - and the list goes on and on). The owners even provided a list of things to do in the area once they heard what my family enjoyed. We honestly could not have asked for a better place to stay!
