We would 100% stay here again. We loved every minute of it. The staff, service, and property were top notch. The staff payed attention to little details and confirmed all information before we got there. They even had a 10 year anniversary card waiting for us. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. We asked where we could access a microwave and they brought one to the room! Also came super fast to assist with coffee brewer. Only downside was the mattress was way too soft.

The pool is a garden paradise. The palm deck rooftop has amazing views. The staff all say the owner Matt is amazing and all the staff were overly gracious. Dinner was also amazing with a great bartender who asked us how things were. Water sports were an added bonus

The Family Suite rooms (located in Conch House) require serious updating, especially the bathrooms, which bring you back to the 1970s Keys. The restaurants, bars, and on-site market are phenomenal; it feels like you are staying in two completely different resorts 40 years apart. The staff and overall service were also fantastic. Very friendly staff throughout the site. I would go back and stay in the updated luxury rooms without hesitation. A luxury room stay here would deserve 5 Stars. Cheers

This property is miles from anything. I had no rental car and had I not had family who had one I would have needed to take at least a $10 Uber to get to the nearest facility to the property, and much more to get into Marathon. Maybe it was because it was the offseason but the bar on the second floor was closed for several days during the week. It also closed way too early when it was open. The bartenders were friendly when the bars were open, but the drinks weren't well-mixed. Access to the water was limited (for my personal preference) due to the condition of the beach area. It's not the property's fault, but the area near the water is not something I wanted to participate in, even for free kayaking or paddle boarding. The "beach" had no sand and was tough on bare feet, and the area in/near the water was sludgy and gross looking. The breakfast options were very limited at the on-site store and I ended up getting a box of cereal from a local grocery store one of the times I was in Marathon. The room was nice and the staff was great, but I wouldn't stay here again.

Great place. They have an area for families and another separate one for Adult's. Conplementary drink on the tour for the first time. Super clean and comfortable. Snack bar and beverage in the room. We got the suite for extra cost but was a neat idea.

My expectations for Grassy Flats was so high. It is a beautiful setting and the rooms are wonderful with excellent service from all staff . I would have rated excellent had it been for a few details . I was unaware when I booked months back that the rooftop bar and Rhum House Restaurant would only open from Thursday to Sunday . We arrived Tuesday and left Friday. So we ate at the Land and sea Market on our 1st evening - laid back, tasty food. The resort came to life on Thursday and both the bar and restaurant were perfect venues to enjoy the setting , such a shame we only had one night to experience this. The food at The Rhum House restaurant was simply outstanding, with our server Max who was one of the best , her knowledge of the food was spot on and she really looked after us . Great decor and ambience too. The other reasons for not an excellent rating are purely my own opinions . I found the rooms had little soundproofing, so as a light sleeper I was woken a lot and I struggled with the noise of the fridge next to the bed . However, the suite with the claw set freestanding bath was very luxurious with a lovely sea view . Just a little note to the resort - there was nowhere in the bathroom to store all toiletries etc. a small table or shelf would have been great . Jeff at the poolside bar was a great asset always cheery and accommodating with cocktails and ice . We loved the pedal kayak for 2 a great way to explore the bay . Thank you to all at Grassy Flats .
