We arrived at the home and there was a town violation taped to the garage door. The home was clean and well stocked. A little dated but nicely decorated. There are large TV's everywhere which was nice. Me and my wife both have some back issues. The mattress in the master bedroom was so bad that when you laid in it you laid in it you had to dig your way out. We wound up sleeping in the second bdrm which was still soggy but better.We rented a 3 bedroom home because we wanted the privacy of our own pool which was advertised to be heated at 83F. I put my foot in the pool and it was to cold to swim. I purchased a pool thermometer and for the 2 weeks of our stay never climbed above 75 degrees. I contacted the host and for 100 he would have it raised to 88 degrees. I made the payment but no one ever raised the heater. The host insisted it was raised but my thermometer said otherwise. We were sitting in the yard and the pool maintenance team arrived. I asked them if the heater was raised. He called his boss and we were told that they didn't have the combo for the lock sealing the thermostat housing. I again contacted the host and he again insisted the temp was raised. We rented for 2 weeks and we were unable to use the pool. We paid just shy of 6K for the pleasure of our own pool. Plus the 100 to raise water temp which was never done.
